Right now the plan is talking to some of the guys from Savannah is to hold a rotary meet at Hooters on the first Saturday of January

****, I was going to have a meet here in Stewart, but I geuss I can merge ours into yours, What time are you all meeting at hooters? We can move washing our cars to the left a few hours and meet up with you all a hooters.

Hey guys. My names Jon.... But people call me Moe (last name) I am picking up an fd shell this weekend and am stationed at hunter. Really excited about this project and loving all the info and respect on this forum.

 

What up MOE! I flew out of Hunter for OIF and flew back there later on return from OND. If you need any help were not to far from ya, Im sure you have a place on post with lifts where you can store and rebuild your vehicle like Stewart, lmk if you need any help.

 

Thanks man. Yeah there's lifts on post.... I bought an engine rebuild DVD for the 13b so I can understand how to rebuild the engine myself...(hopefully) this is goin to be a big project and I'm probably going to have to ask a lot of questions... I apologize in advance lol

 

No worries, where are you buying the engine from? If they have good deals LMK because Im looking for a cheap one to learn how to rebuild them.

Will meet at the Hooters and welcome all the new guys and give out info and numbers. There's about 3 engine builders in town so no worries. 2 Tuners for rotary and one dyno. Will discuss in detail at the meet on your options.

I also would like to point out that i believe I know Carlos, if i am correct he is a helicopter pilot. There a couple people with fcs on post that I know as well. At the moment i have a 2009 Chevy cobalt SS that came stoth with the k04 turbo. Tiny but efficient. I have about 300ish at the wheels. I'm boosting a lot though. But I've done reasonable mods and want an actual project and I definitely need a rwd car. I was told about the rx7 on the cobalt forums and looked into it more and more and definitely love the fact that there is so much you can do with it. My plan is to get her running before we deploy. I think its a reasonable dream. Like I said in my previous post I apologize but I won't be able to make this meet. Hope there will be another soon to follow. But for now this kind of general knowledge about me and my intentions right now. Any advice will be great and any help I thank you in advance.

 

What month are you deploying? dont want to break your opsec so you can give me a 3 month spread haha. Its gonna take a while to get that 7 up and running, id say 6-7 months. or 3 weeks with all of us lol.
