WOW!! Are you trying to blow the engine before you get it tuned??
I know it was hard staying out of boost & not revving it during the breakin period, but sheesh you don't want to take a chance and ruin something before you get tuned. Sorry, I had to say something.

I took it back to the mechanic to be tuned and he blessed off on the two programs loaded in the FC, and the wide band reading are good. I also got the upgrades to allow me to spin the engine to 8,000, but thanks for the advice. THESE CARS WERE MEANT TO BE DRIVEN NOT PUTT-PUTTING AROUND TOWN.
Hope to meet you and your 7 sometime.

Back from the beach, and drove the car around last night. Spotted one 93 at Logan’s and the AWD's were having some sort of gathering at the old Media Play parking lot. Did anything happen over the weekend that I might have missed?

Charlotte Tune
I'm not sure if anyone has been keeping track of the tune that's planned in Charlotte around the third week of July, but if you need a tune now it the time to start planning for it. I had scheduled a tune with Steve Kan, but I had a water seal let go and I couldn't make it. His next tune date was the end of July, which is way to long for me to wait, plus it's going to be at Pettit down in South Florida. I would rather drive to NC then to FL any day, so I'm joining the Charlotte guys for this tune and Brian says that he has slots open. He will be there all week instead of just Saturday and Sunday. I’ve talked to both guys and I’m willing to see what kind of results I can receive from my tune. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

What's Up For the Weekend
Well, I'm pretty sure that this will be one of the first weekends that I don't have to visit NC or SC for any reason. I will be taking the dash apart to figure out the tach issue, replacing the stock accordion air filter hoses and finally putting on the 99 spec tail lights; all parts that I have had in the living room for over a month waiting on the car to return.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
as far as i can tell we are still on for the third saturday of the month....
hey darth- talk with the guys at the carolina meet and let them know about our meet, that way they will know that they are welcome to partake in our meet as well... thanks

How Lucky Can We Be In Savannah
Francisco; how are you so Lucky?
Where was your neighbor about a month ago before I had to rebuild. Well it's done now and I'm riding. I will be by TODAY; I have to go to NAPA by Sams Club for some Scratch remover. First I have to cut some grass and drop by the Yamaha dealer for a master link for my chain (it just disappeared some how). Look for me around 3.00pm<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

he build gengines for a reasonable price with Atkins parts, all depend what he does to the engine, mine has a street port and we will check to make sure is good and replace the seals for atkings once and all the gaskets, i order my stuff yesterday afternoon from Kathy at atkins and should be here today, not bad ahh
