The next Import Races at PBIR (Moroso) is on July 5, 2009. I am officially starting this thread 30 days in advance so everyone can make plans. Our last meet at PBIR had a great turnout with 11 Rotary cars total cruising up the turnpike. If you have friends with Rotaries please invite them to join us. ONLY post your name if you are going to attend.

When: July 5,2009
Place: PBIR ( formerly Moroso )
Time: 9:00 am
Meeting place: We will meet in the Arby's parking lot at Tower Shops at 8 am ( corner of University and I-595 in Broward )
Caravan: We will be driving up the Turnpike to PGA Blvd. ( Please make sure you have Sunpass as it keeps the caravan together )

It's been a while since i have hung out with any rotorheads around here.. And my car should be done and ready to unveil by then. I wont be racing cuz i have 2000 miles of break in ahead of me but I am definitely down to go and put some miles on her . Phil how you doin man it's been a while!!

ima do my best to be their with my number 1 fan, my only fan, (my gf) lol might not race, rear end is going n my car is ugly as ****, but lets see, im not usually one to worry if i break sumthing or looks lol

dont laff my **** is a perfection in progress lol so noises and visual defects are promised lol

 

no worries as long as you are part of the caravan and it has a rotary inside you are welcome to join us. unfortunately all of our cars are "perfection in progress" some are just further along than others my paint is about 10 different shades of yellow............and as it sits in the garage it could not make it out of the driveway because it is undergoing some routine maintenance/upgrades

because it is further away from morosso and 95 has much more traffic increasing the probability of getting split up.

 

I know man it has been killing me to be out of the game for so long. I'm back in a big way though you are not even gonna recognize my car LOL. You guys can add my name to that list btw I can't cuz I can't copy and paste on my phone.

 

I'll try to make it. My car needs just a couple minor repairs before I can start driving it again.

Alright, car is ready to go so count me in too. All I need though are the directions to the meeting spot. I'm in Palm Beach.

 

The meeting spot is in Broward. Not sure if you want to drive down just to drive up.
Also, we always stop at the Publix on PGA right at the exit to load up with food for our day at PBIR. It would probably be better for you to meet us there and then caravan with us to PBIR. Of course it's all your choice, I'm just giving you options..

you can also meet at the Sample Turnpike toll plaza. i also live up north and its kind of a pain to drive south to drive right back north again

Hey my car still may not be ready in time for this event so its a toss up for me on wether my car will make it.. But i would love to ride up with someone if that may be the case. Phil you think you can shlep me along if i need the ride? Do you still have the same cell #??
