I daily drove mine for about 8-9 months when I first got it. Left me stranded once because the fuel pump died. Other than that I never had any significant issues that would keep the car from making it to where I was going.

I ended up getting a daily for the exact same reasons lwnslw mentioned.

I think it was me, when i rev my car to almost 9,000 RPM, the 4th gear synchro grinds a bit, giving me a bit of a delay when getting into 4th when i rev that high. By that time we were neck to neck then he gained on me...

By the way i only lost to him by half a car, and on the other 2 races rolling in 1st gear he had a hard time catching up until the end of 3rd gear, and that's not a 400 rwhp car like he claims, knowing that Lexus is 1,000 lbs. heavier than an FD, he's gotta have way more than 400rwhp to be pulling like that...

It was fun though lol...

Basically this time around a want a bone stock factory 5spd FD l
Should have taken it to Pinguino Racing for consultation and work from the get go. You might have still had it..

+2 on that when I get an FD that's where I'm going !

Also 9/10 it's the owners f@@king up the rotaries, don't push your mistakes on it!

JT has 415HP.... if that heavy *** SC pulled him by a car and a half it definitely has more power... The power to weight ratio is way off compared to our FD's to pull that much...

Ehh, i felt it had some issues with it not being a factory 5spd. It had many kinks to work out. But we all kno at that time in my life i diddent have the bred to blow. So got me the RSX and kept it simple till i got stable.

Reality is im might just have to hold off a bit unless i find one i cant miss out on.

^^This is true but in my case, i never did beat on the car and never raced it. Everything went wrong when my ecu fried, then having to run a stock ecu with all those mods.

But Youre Also Missing The Fact, That his 1J makes Torque very Close To His HP Level, And his SC has a Tall Rear End, In Other Words If JT Would Of Ran Him Longer The Outcome Would Of Been In His Favor.

It was a very fun race, i'd like to run him again. 1st gear roll seems like we would go neck to neck all the way to top end, he had a little hard time catching up after 3rd... he only pulled on me by half a car and he knows that! =P Ask him about that 1st gear take off we did lol... and i had a passenger with me, he was alone in his car. =)

I'm only at 13 PSI, i want to turn up my boost and see what happens, but not doing it for now...

His car surely is fast!

Still looking for FD wheels! hehe...

I always had 7s for DDs and the only thing they sucked was gas. the damn gas prices were the only thing that stopped me from keeping them on the go.

I ended up getting one of dem econoboxes to rack up the miles
