Well my issue is i still owe plenty on the RSX so, my only decent way of obtaining another FD would be through a dealership. Plus i have yet to even hear back from the guy wit the RHD FD so i doubt this will even happen.

Not gona rush this, gonna search with patience

Dude take that RSX to carmax.
The term rape comes to mind with the thought of buying a FD through a dealer.

Carmax will buy your car right then and there, if they come even close to payoff I would give them the difference and throw them the keys. Then you can take your time and find the FD you want, if you are going to finance the FD, unless you have savings for anything that goes wrong and have a car you can drive daily, don't do it. Pay off the RSX and then keep it and get an FD when the time is right.

Trust me if you don't have another car to drive around an FD is not something you will want, something always needs to be done. If it is your only source of transportation you won't have it for long.

My FD was bone stock automatic and a great daily for a lil over a year and never gave me issues as i maintained it regularly myself. The issues started as i got a tad crazy when i did a manual swap, non sequential B&R twin turbos, 3in down pipe, 3in strait mid pipe and 3in cat back, upgarded petit ecu all at once, and other minor mods. Everything went downhill from there to keep it as a daily and when the ecu went bad thats when the coolant seals went bad and needed a rebuild. I got rid of it then cuz i needed sumthin to drive and fell into the RSX as it was a nice car. But i wouldent say its that reliable now as its slammed and cant drive it everywhere lol.

Basically this time around a want a bone stock factory 5spd FD to enjoy.

If you sell the RSX and need a place to store the RG2's, I'd be happy to hold them for you

I found one at a dealership for a great price w/ low original miles, but they sold it the day i contacted them

I'll continue my search, or will just boost the RSX soon

Unless you have actually daily driven your FD then it's all perception...

When I bought my FD and it was still on twins, I daily drove it for 8 months with NO issues.. I work out of my car so when I say daily, it is anywhere from 20 to 100 miles a day of stop and go city driving...

The only reason I stopped was because of all the rock chips the front of the car was getting... It was making the FD look like ****...and the rest is history.... she is now a garage queen...

NOT to mention.... both my sons daily drive their FD's.... Jr has done it for over 2 years and it has held up like a champ thanks to Pinguino Racing and it's tuner...

You should try to keep your RSX as a daily, or maybe a cheap automatic car so you can play with the FD and not worry about when is it going to break and leave you stranded. These cars are getting old and well, you know how these rotary engines could be a box of surprises...

Not to mention how expensive parts could be, and hard to find, but you already knew that...

Just a suggestion!
