Hey Guys, I am posting for two reasons. One is to see if anyone from Manchester, TN is on the forums. I live in Manchester and have a 85 GSL-SE with a S4 JDM TII swap. The other thing is to see if anyone knows who owns the Black Wide Body Second Gen with Gold Wheels in town. It has been sitting at an apartment complex for over a year and I was wondering what the story is on that car. Anyway, if you are in Manchester or nearabout, give me shout.

 

I know what is up with the widebody. It should be actually for sale. The owner was from Japan and got his graduate degree from Vandy, then was promptly told to return to Japan. So the car had to stay. I used to have his email addy, but lost it. But I know a few things about the car.

90 S5 GXL
Hand made widebody, metal, no fiberglass
All S5 TII driveline (trans, driveshaft, LSD, axles), but rockin an NA motor
I forget the wheels
RE mirrors
A few other JDM trinkets
He was asking $4000 for it.

I'm not currently looking to pick up another ride, but I may try to find out if it is still for sale and mention it on the forums. I just hate to see such a nice widebody sittin around with flats. Any other Coffee County RX's. I saw a blue vert pulling out of the parts store the other day in Manchester.
