Yeah he took really good care of the car, it's just too much for me right now. I want to make sure it goes to a good home though, and not to someone that's gonna gut it and make it a drag car or other kind of race car. It's a piece of history and should be preserved as such
Yeah I think I might just stick with rebuilding a rotary to put in Melba, possibly before I leave if I have the money, it's so much cheaper than going LS1, I just can't afford that right now. Josh, when are we doing your bushings bro? lol

Well, just let me know.
I called you today to inform you of my new gameplan, haha. How about this...I'll pay the rest of the money for project twins before I leave and get your engine...put Melba on a trailer and head off for Rich Farrell in NY to work on the car while I'm deployed...if the engine is bad they build yours and put it in and have the car ready for me by the time I get back, unless it needs to be picked up before then in which case a friend from work already said he'd go get it (along with going with me in his truck and using another friend's trailer to drop it off). Yep, that's the kind of people I work with, kickass people. Sound like a plan?

^I was thinking the exact same thing, hahaha. I have yet to test these bushings. I would only have to break it in if the engine was new, and even then I could do that on the drive back from NY. So I could hypothetically drive straight to the Gap, haha.
i think it's time for another engine conversion. this time, in the fiero. i am thinking ecotec. main reason would be to obtain a 50/50 weight bias, and bump the HP to about 200ish with the supercharger.
so many projects, so little time.
i think i need to go to car modifiers anonymous, i just can't stop.

^Agreed, CMA FTW. Although I'm not too sure it's anonymous if you SAY you're going, haha.
I'm not sure yet when I'm taking it. As it turns out I can't borrow the trailer, I asked him today and it kinda cringed, haha. It's a $2700, 17 foot car trailer that weighs about 8k lbs, and he said it would take probably over $400 in gas haha. But he did suggest getting the dolly from UHaul though, so I may just do that instead. I still have to work something out about whether I can leave it there or if my buddy has to go pick it up, I really didn't want to ask him to do that though. I also have to have a deposit for Rich and Ihor too. But before I do all that I want to get project twins paid for and get your engine. So it will probably be sometime in Sept.

Well that's up to you bro. As long as all the parts are there I could care less how it's packaged, haha. Would you leave the bolts kinda loose or something like that so they know it was taken apart already, or tighten it up like it hadn't been taken apart? Just curious, I was thinking it might be better if there was some evidence of being opened already so they know without a doubt, but I could be mistaken.
I just gotta get that money together for the project first, I hope he still remembers that I've given him so much money already and only owe him a little, haha. I'm kinda thinking about getting those Work XD9 wheels if we do the project, might look a little better with more lip.

chargrill continued to get more and more, well it just plain stunk. i don't know if they had dead bodies in the dumpster or what, but it was bad.
not to mention out of the way for a lot of us. i know the garner location has to take at least 15-20 minutes off the drive for the fayetteville, wilmington, jacksonville people. now if only we could get eric to go AWOL and come see us. apparantly air force guys can't drive, or something of that nature.

Good to see you're still alive Jason.
of course it is within an hour
or just tell em' you are coming to see me in clayton.
i came up with the car you need to buy Subaru Legacy GT. AWD, and a of the aftermarket WRX stuff works on it from what I've heard. It's like a bigger WRX.
