Rotary Resources Vs. Rotorsports Racing
Anyone that has work done....or anyone that knows someone that knows someone....Debate between the two here! I know i'm going to need a rebuild soon, and I want to know which one is better! I know Rotary Resources has faster turn around but that's about all I know about them. I'd like to have it done in a timely manner too. But i also want, SP, oil mods, 3mm apex.....you know, the works! So let's hear it!

5 years and still going strong on my '91 Turbo rebuild by Rotorsports Racing. They were great to work with befor, during and after the whole process. Took a little while but I think it was well worth it. They can do whatever you want done.
Don't know anything about the other company so I can't help you there.

I have been to RSR twice and they are super super nice. They did not treat me as a punk kid. They took my friends car when we got stuck in charlotte with his TII. it was saturday and we were lucky that Rusty was there. they fixed his car in a week. Great shop.

I have one of bruces (rotary resouces) motors in my car and I love it. He's cheaper and quicker than RSR and a really good honest guy. He quoted me a price when I dropped off my engine and when I picked it up he charged me less than his quote, for more work! That's never happened to me. You also won't need to worry about 3mm seals with him because his seals are unbreakable anyways. I don't know about longevity yet because I only have about 5000 miles on mine but so far I am very happy and would definetly recomend him.

I know I've PM'd you this- mainly just putting it here in case someone searches down the line. I've dealt with Bruce at Rotary Resources on two different occasions. Both times I was very pleased.
The first time I rebuilt the engine myself. The second time, I didn't feel like messing with it, so I took it back to him. (Nothing wrong with my rebuild - a long story, but after sitting for several months, moisture got in the chamber, and the springs and sides rusted).
Anywayyyy - I dropped the engine off and it was ready 2 weeks later, within $20 of his quote. He was quick to respond to emails and/or phone calls - both before and after.

ROTORSPORTS RACING is the way i went and will always go. had my motor rebuilt in a 1st gen, 12a SP and ended up getting the rest of my stuf through him from RB. what a great job, car sounds great, still going back together so its not been driven, but im not worried about it. this is my 1st rebuild so i had a lot!! of questoins and still do and if i email or call rotorsports i get a response as quick as you can expect. even after i put the motor in and got it running it was not right so bryan was willing to bring it back in and he timed and tuned it and did so work on it for me and after i got my tank cleaned it cranks quicker then my new truck and just purrs. it may take a little longer but he gets them through as fast as he can they are just that busy. all the guys there are good and take the time to do it right and you wont be disappointed, just my opinion. i never had any experience with Rotary Resources so i cant say any good or bad but im glad i went rotorsports racing, i just like the way i was treated the first and everytime ive been there, and being i was only like 17 when i first went down there i was still treated like an adult, which showed alot. somtimes price and turn around arent everything, with a 7 its a long time commitment.

Well - we actually perform the machining for Rotary Resources' engine rotors. Bruce is also a good friend. If time is an issue then contact me directly. We'll try our best to meet your goals.
