Well my uncle has a contract out with the owner of Lakeland dragstrip. I just asked him what are the chance of me holding a big Rotary meet in october at the track. He told me to see what will be an average amount of people that will show up. He said he can open it up for DRAGS and DRIFTING. There will be food services and medical and fire rescue crew on the premises. This is up on the air as of now so please be patient with times, entrance price, and exact rules. ROTOR7VEN is running the whole event.

PLEASE copy and paste this and send it to your friends and your local rotary community. This will be open to all who want to come so the only admission fees will be at the gate, and if you want to participate at the dragstrip or drift track.

THE TRACK IS NOT OPEN FOR PISTON POWERED CARS, BUT ALL ARE WELCOMED

I think its an awesome idea. But if you allow piston cars on the drift track, I know for a fact you'll get a nice turn out on that part. As sad as I am to say it, not many rx7 owners in the area participate in the drifting world. Im definitely up for it if my car is running, ive been wanted to slide on a track for the longest. Ill probably hit a wall or something

 

ALEX and i have been talking about would be nice if we can arrange a swap meet there too!

* PARTS SWAP MEET now included in the madness so rack up parts and sell them off there. Sellers and Buyers are at own risk. ROTOR7VEN is not responsible for any parts sold, traded, or bought.

* We have a supplier for TROPHIES now!

* If anybody has any ideas or comment please feel free, this event is gonna be paid by all of us. Rotor7ven will not have a penny from this. All the entrance fees,raffles, food..etc income is going to the contractors and track keepers.

no Goldo , but i talked to the track owner Dave today and he was the one that gave me the go and said to get it all worked out he will take car the rest i.e. ambulance, fire rescue, track workers....etc...

does anyone know a advertiser, you know the ones that do those cool flyers that have reggeaton clubs ...or when puerto rico vs america comes ...you guys know what i mean

 

lakeland dragstrip has been closed down. The track owner fired everyone and cancelled every event. The track was being leased from the owner and nobodys knows why he just fired the guy who leased it from him., Just gotta wait and see if they re-open

 

En Nene 7 called this number . They are the ones who be making all the event flyers. They have a special this month i think of 1000 flyer cards for like 50 bucks, They are really good. Here is the number
