well thanks to my friend helping me to move the other car out of the way i should be able to attend the july meeting

got some new stuff in the car so i wanted to go torture it a bit

 

Im miss chilling with you guys.I will be back up hopefully the end of July im painting the engine bay,rebuilding the engine, upgrading suspension and brake system.

 

car is dead...lost stationary bearing...terminal engine failure...will hopefully return to Old town meetings around november after i get back rom europe and with new engine

comes with the territory, but it died a nobel death trying to get its daddy back home..it almost made it, just 2 blocks away...
it sucks but its an opportunity to make it better, though i think it will be a 13b this time...might have to change my name hehehehehehe
at least its not getting a v8...yet :P

no really it just let go, i beat on it all that friday night in orlando, drove around saturday morning after i resealed an intake leak, stepped into it one time and it went all crunch and munch on me...i will tear it down after i get this studebaker out of my way so i can work, thats gone the 18th of july, then a full autopsy is planned, im searching for parts now as i suspect its going to need a whole longblock this time...it sounded bad, might have cracked/broken a gear, but i think it was rear stationary bearing by the external examination...sucks too, that was a nice running engine. o well no one was hurt and the sun still rises
ill probably show up at old town anyway, just have to sneak in the back way hehehe

I will be driving down to Kissimmee this Friday. I am bringing the red FC but am sad (on 1 part) to say that I will let it go this Saturday. I am selling it to a guy in Winter Park. However, the funds will go to get the blue one on the road! I will make it a street/strip car. Will have the turbo up and will go fuel injected. Hopefully soon! I am shooting for August time-frame.

 

A few of us from TBROC (Tampa Bay Rotary Owners Club) will be leaving from St Petersburg this afternoon. I believe our plan is to be in O Town by 6? Dont quote me on that tho
We should be bringing 2 Fb's and 3 Fc's, tho thats subject to change as well since 8 of the 10 people coming with us own 7's and only 5 of us are man enough to drive them to Old Town....

Looking forward to meeting up with the CFR guys and everyone else. Hope the weather stays nice

 

Sorry guys I can make it tonight to old town at my work they dont let me leave earlier today, apologize to the TBROC, man I miss that chance to meet you guys, I was so mad at work, but I can do nothing, hopefully see you in the next event.
