you think its a good idea to slam someone that is working on your car?
thats a bad way to go around doing things. I would have no motivation to work on your car, since it seems to me you would be unhappy no matter what.
You had a motor rebuilt because it ate a "apex seal" right? then that rebuilt overheated
It is in your posts kabooski found of yours. No one forced you to haul your car half way down the state, and a second time to boot!.

Oh, so I should have paid him, which I did, and not had my car in a running state? That was the most ignorant comment made on this thread yet. Of course I had to take it back to him. Either that or sue him for the money back, but I thought I would give him his second chance before going that route.

As far as slamming anyone, I am not. I am simply posting my experience with him so far. He could try to turn it around, as I will post that he did a great job IF he does a great job. I am only here journaling my experience with him, step by step. So you thinking that I am "slamming" him just shows that he is doing something wrong.

Ok, you convinced me. What's your definiation of "real quality", as opposed to what?

I dont know if you've made up your mind yet, but the shop I work at do very nice rebuilds with no out-of-spec parts re-used , at MAZSPORT. We are located right next to Tampa, just ask for Scott. Fast and friendly service, and made to your specs. www.mazsport.net

the "Real quality" wasnt in the context your referring to.

It was merely stating that we do quality work.

Guessing by the number of post you have you have either been ill informed or just taking a SWAG at why coolant seals go bad. They fail without over heating it. When over heated "badly" the housings or plates can warp and then a rebuild will require part replacement.

hahaha, no it's sitting at the shop. On a side note.
Once again I am an satisfied Fuego Racing customer. Jose and Mickey (his assistant) have been staying at the shop til the wee hours to get my car running. For those that don't know, I crashed my old FD and I bought a shell to swap everything into it. This time around I had them port and pin the motor, and go with a completely new set up. As of today, the car runs beautifully and I can't wait til I hit the streets with an FD again

You go by the shop and talk to Mickey, his assistant. Jose is in and out most of the day between the two shops.

Where's the new shop? I'm coming from Jax, 150 miles away. Does he have a new phone number? The old one doesn't work.

I can't talk to Mickey, he doesn't know English and I don't know Spanish.

Hey Fuego is back at the shop. His wife gave birth to their 4th child last week, their first boy! So there is now a Jose Fuego Jr. Anyways, give him a ring at the shop tomorrow. He'll be there.
