Rebuild in Jax

Anyone know who can do it? Issac no longer works on cars, and I don't know of anyone else with a good reputation. Anyone have good or bad experiences anywhere in Jax??

He had been doing it for over 10 years- he wanted a change. And the 91 vert is no longer a T2.

So anyone have any ideas? I need one ASAP, and thanks for the video offer, although I am pretty sure I could do it, I really don't have the time. Just had a baby 1 week ago.

I haven't seen much of their work, or heard anything about them, but a guy from Driving Force does rebuilds. He has a purple FD with mazdaspeed seats at his shop. Last time I was there though, was like 6 months ago. I bought 2 primary injectors for $50.00. Great guy when I talked to him. The shop is off of philips near emerson.

There is also Rotary Works in Middleburgh, Shane owns it. He can import any JDM engine or component. You should check out his shop, we talked for about 5 hours when I stopped by. He is definately a stand up guy.

Hope this helps in some way.

There's a shop/dealership on Atlantic Blvd. by Arlington Rd., called Jax Motors. It's a dealership i nthe front, and in the back, is a shop, but the mechanic runs a side project called "Tuner Performance" out of the shop, and it's essentially rotary-only. His name is Steven Colon... Puerto Rican guy, speaks very little english, and when he does, it's VERY broken. But, I've seen him crack apart a blown 12A, put new seals, gaskets, rotor housings, and popped it all back together in 45 minutes... total. He's good.... not just fast at what he does, he's legitimately VERY GOOD. If I were to trust ANYONE in Jax with my motor, it'd be him.

904.591.9355 is his number.

driving force used to be the WORST shop you could possibly go to, but the old owner isnt there anymore and i have been told its getting better now, but its now located on atlantic where that nissan Z shop was, it still has the big Z painted on the side, it has a sign that says buds auto service or something like that
