Ok heres the deal guys.
I've got a motor that was built about 3 years ago for my 84 RX-7 GSL-SE. It had a hybrid rebuild with S5 Rotors and S4 rotor housings and a streetport.
Anyhow at an autox a couple of weeks ago I let an instructor drive the car and I believe he over revved it. I now have oil oozing out of the front cover and when I open the cap it is pressurized. So it appears that I have lost a corner seal. Since it is now my second car I am hoping to rebuild the motor myself/ with help.
I was wondering if anyone would like to help me rebuild the motor. I obviously can pull it and all, however past that point I loose my confidence.
I would buy the pizza/beer or whatever else anyone requests. I imagine this would have to be a multiple weekend deal but I can definitely try to make myself available. I do work over at Grassroots Motorsports Magazine so they keep me busy some weekends.
I appreciate in advance any advice or consideration anyone gives to this invitation.
Thanks
Greg
