Raleigh Rotary Drive-Ins for March
It is March, the days are getting longer, well there is still just 24 hours in the day but the daylight is last longer, the rotaries and their owners are coming out after their long winter hibernation. Come join us for a Drive-In and a weekend drive this month. We get together on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, this month Drive-Ins will be on the 11th and 25th and a few of us will be doing a weekend drive to Charlotte on the 18th for the Rotary Rally there at the North Lake Mall.
Tonight's RRDI:
Everybody who owns a rotary and lives within a 120 miles of Raleigh should be there. We should have good turnout after the last Drive-In and tonight's weather forecast, fairly warm and no rain.
We'll continue to talk about the Tail of the Dragon trip, I'll have rotary maintenance checklists for everyone going, NC DOT Highway maps, better known as an analog GPS navigation system. We'll also discuss next weekend's rotor fest in Charlotte and try to determine who is going from the RRDI and decide on when to leave and how to get there.
Since we haven't had a door prize drawing in a while I thought we might have a drawing tonight after everyone shows up. Everyone be sure to bring your driver's licenses to participate in the drawing, I have a couple of prizes for the drawing tonight.
All are invited, the Drive-Ins happen anytime after 5:00 PM at the Char Grill, 9601 Strickland Road in nawth Rawley. Clean up your rotary, if its in road worthy condition, and come show it off tonight.
