Problem with getting insurance.

Heres the thing, I live in Florida and the FC is considered a high preformance vehical. Im only 22 and had a accident 2 1/2 years ago. So they wont insure me since its under 3 years. Im with Hartford. Anyone else in my circumstance still able to get insurance? If so what company are you with?

Thanks

Call your states Insurance Commisioner. If your FC is non turbo, it should be rated as such.

ok ill try that. The lady that i talked to from my insurance company said it didnt matter if i was turbo or not. Which didnt make since to me since alot of other cars including the other car i was looking at orginally geting a little while ago. (s13 with sr20det) was not considered a high preformance car yet its faster then a non turbo rx7.

Only insurance so far ive found i can get is High risk and i cant afford what they wnat me to pay for it. with the same benefits i have now with my current insurance.

Thank you for your help. Ill tell you what the commisionar said.

My convertible is considered a high performance car... I pointed out that it is slower than most modern econocars. They don't care. If they an get a few more bucks, they are going to.

Progressive will insure anything. I got them to insure a Ducati for me when I was only 21 and I had tickets and wrecks on my record. Granted it wasnt cheap, but they would do it.
