Possibly moving to FL, which city is best?
#26
Oh, and thanks for all the info guys, I really appreciate it. It's a pretty tough decision, and I'm still not sure if I can really handle spending weekends in FL and living in a crash pad in NYC, right now it seems like the best option though, I love my job and its got a good future, I just don't want to move closer to NYC. So hopefully this works out nicely.

Avoid Miami.
It's miserable, full of crime, and expensive.
The West coast is prettier and less expensive.
I'm in Sarasota, which I prefer to Tampa/St Pete, 50 miles south, near Sarasota Airport (SRQ.)
Having lived in New York, I will warn you, the roads are painfully boring here. It's heartbreaking to drive around Florida when you're used to driving around NY, or anywhere in the northeast. For the most part, every thing here is flat and perfectly straight.
