Smile Planning to move to SC

Hey guys,
The Mrs. and I are planning to move back to the east but instead to the South East. More like Rock Hill, SC.

How's the area for motorsports and club events. how about car mods?

How the area anyways? Anything is better than LA but want to get your 2cents.

We are looking to move in about 2 years. Maybe visit a few times the area before moving or deciding.

Thanks
C

Your not far from Charlotte and theres a lot going on there. Rack Hill is kind of a suburb of Charlotte, just across the state line thats all. Lot of folks work in Charlotte and live in Rock Hill. SC is cheaper for a lot of things.

Hey I saw that.

I'll probably end up working in Charlotte. Doesn't look too far.

I think anything cheaper than LA. Just looking for peace and quiet. Also no smog police.

All bullshit aside If you love the car scene and expect anything like California you WILL be disappointed. I moved here froere arem San DIego 2 yrs ago and the people are awesome, but the scene is lacking. (the locals that know me are gunna get all upset, but it's the truth and they will get over it.) There are mountain runs and a meet just about every month, yeah monthly not weekly I know.

Hey,
I know what you mean about the car scene. Not looking for the car scene like LA has. The only thing I do here really is go to Sevenstock.
Life is too hectic here, too many people, too many cars. I just stay home most of the time since driving around here is horrible.
Being a former N. East coast person i just like to chill and find a few good people to hang out and bs about cars. I probably can go out late at night and find no one on the road compared to here, there are people driving to who knows where in the middle of the night in LA, no one sleeps.
I am more about going to the track on the weekend like VIR. I used to go to MADS back in the days. I wonder if they still do that a few times a year.

Anyone here do track or solo....? Any drifting events?
