Performance wise you car is definitely a worthy replacement for a stock FD (power to weight ratio, handling). Good job and sweet car and pics.

I like it!!

You mean you call it, "Dyno-Mite" right?

In your title. I thought you meant it "might" be a replacement for the FD. But then again,
it's already yours.

i thought about getting a hard top, but at the moment, id rather spend the cash on breaks, radiator+oil cooler combo and a straight pipe cat replacement.

as far as the name goes, DYNO-MIGHT as in the car has some serious power considering the power to weight ratio

I think he told me 300 hp to the wheels at 12 psi. That seems very high considering the trap speeds. I think 300 at the flywheel is more accurate. That is insane, way more than double the stock output. FDs have about 220 to the wheels stock and weigh more than Miatas. Badass car!

That car must feel really fast. Being so small and pulling so hard...must be a blast. I used to have a Miata.

good lord! 450 hp......excuse me while i vomit. thats just nuts. although, in a few months, maybe by the end of the year, ill want that kind of power. no more rotaries for a while though. perhaps a blown 5.0 would do the trick for me

Actualy 489hp at 19psi to be exact and blowing through a Holley!
It ran 11.60 at 12psi and 11.20 at 15psi. Anything higher and it was not drivable.
Spinning the wheels in 4th gear at 140mph was not a problem. Alex you should ask Tai how many times we've been sideways at those speeds in 4th gear.
The car weighed 2450lbs without driver. I hope sometime this century the wide body kit would get done so we can actualy put some power to the ground.
