No...unfortunately Ron did not have any 3rd gen parts. But he did give me a few pointers about where else to look and other rotors I could use.

Motor is finally ready for drop in....cant wait. Not sure of anyone that refinishes wheels, but I will be looking as well. I would like to get mine re-done soon also.

You mean Dale? We were suppose to do the cruise on sunday, but it seems a lot of ppl including Dale will be out of town. We may try and do something monday but not sure yet.

I wish I could go. I accidentally did The Dumbest Thing You Can Do, so now my car won't start, and once it does, I still have to figure out why my car will shred alt belts, but not when there is no electrical load to the alt. Stumped, and trying not to get discouraged here.

 

I am just north of you all in Alabama. Recently picked up a unmolested 93 FD. Swapped all the rubber vacuum lines out. Now getting a downpipe to get rid of some heat. I have to find an oil leak (think its coming from the rear main or stationary gear o ring). Once thats done I am ready to roll sometime. By the way if anyone wants to compete in autocross. They race every 2nd Sunday here at Ft. Rucker.

Not yet. It's hard to pick a spot when we're discussing a 200 mile stretch of land.
That's why I suggested Cape San Blas or maybe Port St. Joe or something. Maaaaybe Panama City. I live just south of Tallahassee, so we are covering a large area.
If we do an event, it should be accessible by all the RX guys and gals in the area, should include beer, football maybe some cooking out, and definitely some tinkering and a cruise.

 

A couple of the Pcola gents meet on the first Sunday of every month, They go for a ride and to have breakfast.

 

As much as I would love to do that, it's a 2.5-3h drive from me. :p

 

We really need to decide on a place to do this. I have two other Tallahassee guys willing to ride out in our 7s to somewhere reasonable and maybe even on a monthly basis.
Serious location though, Panama City sound cool? PC is half way between us Tally guys and those in AL and over towards FWB/Crestview and Pensacola.

 

Time to bring this thread back to life. Some car friends and I, [one being another FC owner] are gonna be in Panama City for Halloween, so does anybody want to get together around then?

I agree. The Jacksonville guys can come out too. Realistically, if we planned a North Florida event, It would be logical to do it near where I'm at for a more central location across the panhandle. But if it were mostly Pcola guys legit planning to show, I think Panama City would be a great spot. Lots to do and places to go and it's mostly the center of our area. Actually, I may post in the Jacksonville thread to see if they'd be interested in meeting up.
