Looking at dropping a set of V8 headers there and was wondering if anyone had any feedback after using them?
Seems like most shops want to charge between 250-350 for coating but if I use these guys it'll save me rediculous amounts of money in shipping costs.

Damn, I wish I would've seen this. A friend of mine runs a powder coating biz... pretty big opperation. He usually hooks me up.... like $20 to coat an entire Hinson subframe, tranny mount, and torque arm. I'm getting a local group together to get headers coated with him. I've got 3 sets and 2 other sets from friends going over there soon. You could've sent them and picked them up when you come up this way.
guess this proves ur friend is way under charging, or he's just giving u a great deal as a friend. check out eastwood.com. they sell a DIY kit. then u can charge ur friends to do their stuff.

He does a lot of commercial stuff, so I give him my stuff and he throws it in with the next batch he has of the same color. I might have to wait another 2 or 3 days, but no biggie. He's at www.apexpowdercoating.com
