Panhandle FD's
Who's running around Fort Walton beach in a Black FD? I saw em driving off Hurlburt field. Him and someone with a red FD are the only other FD's I've seen East of Pensecola. Gotta be more of us over here...

Nice! Still rocking the 12A? I work on Eglin but have only seen a red FC on base. I just sold one of my FD's and have the motor out of my 93 getting rebuilt at Rotary Resurrection. There's a guy with a FB a few houses down from me where I live, but I haven't made it over to say hi yet.
I have met the kid in the black one. One night he was pulling out of the parking lot and looped it out in the median in front of the Board Walk(swamp/howl at the moon). Pretty funny. Don't know his name.
Josh has the low milage CLEAN AS HELL red one. He is on the fourm as swahooly or something like that. He's been letting his girl drive it cause her 240 broke. Its the nicest stock Fd I have seen. The bose system still works. He is in the Airforce, think he works on hurlbert. His room mate is deployed and has one to. There is a kid that lives in destin with a red one has a 1JZ in it. Black hood.
I see a few random ones here and there especially over summer when all the damn tourists come.
Plus mine.

Yep still have the 12a and it's been rebuilt so it pulls strong.
I work over at 1so. I'll be driving it down from bham possibly after thanksgiving.
Been wanting to take it to a track day on Atlanta.

i have a nikki in my garage. i dont think it will be going back on the car. I've also rebuilt my nikki, if you need help with that. the one i have would require a rebuild anyway.

its really easy to put a holly on your stock intake, you can get the adapter plate (a holly spacer) from autozone and weld it to the intake. i did this to both my first gens, took off the rats nest and cleaned up the engine a lot also made it a lot more reliable starting and running. the only thing i wound up doing other than that was straight pipe exhaust from manifold back. the second one i had someone installed a switch to run the starter without the ignition. so if you flood the car you can flip the switch for a sec and then start it right up.

Good to see there's a few of us Rotary guys running around here. I believe one of those Red FD guys works at AT&T in Destin as I've seen him parked over there multiple times. If I ever find time in life I could put my Fd back together. Hopefully I'll have her running my the end of January.
I saw a red FC running around Crestview this morning. Anyone know who that is? Looks clean.
Any RX8 owners running around that actually give a darn of what's under the hood? I heard one drive by on base the other day that sounded mean... But I imagine like most 8 owners it probably wasn't much of anything.

I saw a light blue first gen at the McDonalds in Crestview a few weekends ago. Also followed a red FC that runs around crestview, (anyone?), and I also met Saben when I saw him getting gas in Niceville I stopped and said hey.
mine is in the shop, i hope to have it in a month or 2 other than that i hope to see yall around we need to have a meet sometime soon.

no no, it went to tennessee, a place called addicted performance unlimited. pretty good group of rotorheads. i got my car and build from there and when it broke down (i think an apex seal) its under warranty so they came down and got the car to make things right. i'll let ya know how it turns out.
i learned my lesson trusting someone here as they had my car in the shop for 3 months and when i got it back i found out he had been hot rodding it around town.... never again.
