Thats was me. I was thinking about following NMJ87T2 down but I couldnt find any of my friends who could go. And now all of a sudden my car is acting weird. Not sure what the deal is there. And even with your cracked windshield, your car is probably more complete than mine. The owner before the guy I got it from was a crackhead and screwed alot of the interior and wiring.

Anyway, maybe I can make the next one. Yall have fun and watch the fun stoppers(cops). Take bunches a pix.

Ice Blue: Who cares if it rains a little the restaruant is shelterd...
...so we've decided on where's lunch?

P.S. ...it's pretty loud and busy out here on the beach...mainly bikers (Spring Thunder Beach '06 weekend) so be careful and be cautious with traffic when heading to FBP.

^ Ya, I hear ya man. For the past few days ive seen bike after bike go by where I live and work. I live on 167N and work on 167S.(New Brockton/Enterprise) So a majority of them probably went past me at some point on their way down.

I would like to thank all who made today possible and was so great seeing you all.
Fdzero - and friend
Houstonderk
BabyDoll
NMJ87T2 - and friend
VredSE3P - and son, hope I got this right
VTAOE - and wife

I know allot called and posted the rain scared you away it could not have been brighter and sunny out and we hope to see you on the 13th.

If good posts and people who do come would like to do this again we can coordinate something like go karts and stuff. Allot of time today was spent waiting on people to show up. All and all the people who did show today you were awesome and some beautiful cars. Lunch was fun and everything.

Hey everyone. It was great attending this event. Had fun sharing info and having lunch. Heh, I think we were chattin after lunch longer than we were at iHops (...) so I'm sure the waitress wanted us to leave. LoL. Anyhow, here are pics and vids from today. Hopefully, next weekend is just as great. Thanks everyone for coming.

Yah, the weather was predicted to be 30-40 chance of rain all weekend so I'm sure that had some play in decisions of others I think. Friday night it rained pretty hard and T-Showers so that wasn't a good note but all day Saturday was beauitful, heh. There were going to be a few from Tally and such. Well, it was very fun nonetheless and lookin' forward to next one.

I will be there for the 13th. At what time will people start meeting at the Park? I can't wait to talk to you guys--I really need help on my car (too many questions to ask here, I'd rather ask in person). I am the only one in my circle of friends with an Rx7, all my buds got mustangs or other cars...

The meet started at 10am yesterday but i didn't get there until 11am. I met Iceblue and Houstonderk this past Friday night at all-car meet at Starbucks so that was cool intro prior to meet.

I'm not sure if we're gonna' meet at same place still? I don't know, will have to see what ICEBLUE says since he started this thread.

Yea I tried to get there early just incase but the best time seems to be prediction around 10AM to 11 that people are comfy showing up.

Yes same place, just head to the back over the rolling speed bumps and you will see rotary’s chillin.

I will also hit the local meet "mall" again Friday night 9:30pm normally I show. If any locals maybe want to go grab a beer fri night.

My body man crashed today riding with me broke his collar bone so FC project delayed and he wont show.

Well, now that I'm back in town I will be there Sat definately... and maybe even go Friday night.
I know that the rain scared most people off, and ppl in Tally had good right to be scared of the crap!!! When I was going to Jax there was really bad rain between here and Tally (and some afterwards) and then comming home yesterday it was freaken crazy!!! You almost couldn't see 20 feet in front Friday and then Sunday visability was about 10 feet.
Sadly when I got home I could tell it hadn't rained at my house, cause the 7 was all covered in pollen and leaves... poor girl... but that's what happens when you need 3 ppl to go somewhere and not just 2.
I've got a great camera, so I definately will be there taking pics. Great pics that you got FDZero. Maybe I'll see you Friday night...

Is it still on for this weekend? I'd like to be there if I could, just to meet with you all. There's hardly anyone in Tally who's enthusiastic about their RX's as you guys in Panama City except for a couple of diehards.

Have a question also for you guys out that way. Who do you have tuning the RX's in the Pensacola, Panama City to Destin area that tunes on a dyno. I have a project vehicle still in planning stages that will need the services of a competent tuner familiar with the Rex and SAFC tuning. The only tuner here I've found in Tally tunes on a butt dyno. Not really familiar w/ the REX either I've come to find out.

My project in case anyone might be interested.
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.php?t=527282.

I've asked kind of the same question in the SE forum but haven't really gotten much of any response. Maybe some of you might have something to contribute to this list. NW florida RX shops and tuners. Would be really helpful for the rest of us RX orphans out here in Tally if you would.

Hey ErixHvn,

Yah, it's still on as far as I know. As far as tuning shops here...none really.

Not related, but we have good body shops though from what I hear @ Dan auto/body shop...

I have delt allot with Fred he is good and I only work with him when my FE is involved. I don't know or think he is an upgrade exspert but does know the ins and outs of the car. Ontop of that he is a realy nice guy to deal with.

The service manager Ron is an *** screw him.

Hey Ice, When will you have ReTed out this way to tune your car? Will you have access to a dyno? BTW, Is your last project (RHD) done yet? I haven't seen that thread in a while. I hope to see it at the meet if I can make it out there.
