Hey, just checking to see how many rotorites we have in the Panam City area. I just moved here from Orlando and I am wondering if there are any weekly gatherings or anything cool. Back in O-town we had a group of Nissan and Rotary gearheads that got together, with limited rice, it was very nice.

Just wondering if anything like that was going on around here.

Ya, i live off Thomas Drive. I have a 94 RX7, it still in atlanta, now i drive a BMW 328iS and a KAwasaki ZX6R 636. I haev a buddy iw rk with wh has a kinda burgundycolr FD with a full eil side kit and 19's on it. he is getig J-spec turbos on this week.

Cool man, so that makes 4 of us here in PC that I know, AND I'M THE ONLY ONE WITH A RUNNING CAR!! Damn, well, another one will be running here in a week probably, if all goes well today and I get most of it buttoned back up.

Who else is here in the area??? No more Rotorites anywhere around Panama City???

hmm, what is an 10AE?

And is there a meeting spot around PCB?? I've heard of people getting together on the weekends sometime, when does that go on?? I'm not all about street racing as I value my employment and commission, but I'm down for hanging out and talking cars.

Anyone in PCB with an FD that wants help on anything with it shoot me a PM, I have already put a motor back together on one and done a tranny/clutch job and turbo control fix on another since I've been here, I work for cheap/beer, and to help out fellow FD owners. Nothin worse than hearing about lame GST Eclipses beating and FD cause it aint running right, rotors need to represent.

hey my names pat i have a 85 gsl and am looking to find another 12a i bought the car under the belief that it was in working order let alone i get it home throw some belts and battery in and to make a long story short no luck anyways back to the motor all i need is a 12a block i have the intake system and am making headers (I am a welder), and have all other nessesary parts if anyone knows of any please contact me at anytime the number is 850 248 0153 and if you want to see the car its on the corner of 17 and illinois street in lynn haven

Well, when you see me rolling around town flag me down, it's the only dark silver (titanium grey metallic) FD around here, prob only one in florida, or one of a few.

I don't think I've seen your FD. I've only seen two reds (one with a vielside kit) and a black one.

 

The one with the kit - is it turbo'd? If so his name is josh... a cool guy at times....

there's another red FC in that area (Well FWB ..) that's pretty nice too. I think it's the one's you've seen.

Well, yeah. I don't know of any meets being held out there - but i know every saturday in pcola is a bayfront meet... sometimes rx-7s go out.. sometimes they don't.... depends on who's there

 

Actually, no (if we are talking about FD's).

Here in PCB there is a maroon car with a veilside kit(vomit) that is owened by a fellow named Jamie and it is slow, as well as a stock *looking* VR R1 that is a buddy of mine Jeff.

As far as the black one I haven't seen that one, there is a stock SSM FD owned by another guy here at Tyndall and mine should be done by the end of this week, Titanium Grey Metallic with the '99 front bumper(smoothed) and spoiler.

That's all I know of, and I dont know the Jamie guy, just word on the street.

okay, i didn't know there were any members from panama city, but i'm from p.c. as well. although i have an RX-7 it's not running and might be awhile before it does being that i've put that project on hold cause i bought another dsm that i'm fixing up. it's a green 94 talon tsi with a few lil goodies but about to start upgrading here soon.

i stay in lynn haven at the moment with a buddy of mine until i leave in january for 5 months for an airforce school. i'll be back though of course. but anyway, i work over at alford tire (goodyear) as my other job for now over in callaway so if anyone wants to stop by, feel free. although i'm off on thursdays and sundays. and have to go to eglin this weekend. i'm a somewhat busy person. but anyway, i'd love to meet up with some people sometime if time permits before i have to leave. laters!

okay, maybe i should start another thread or something instead of hijacking this one but since all the panama city people are here, guess maybe this would be a place for all of ya'll to see this. anyway, december 13th at 2 o'clock, there's gonna be a dsm meet at o'charlie's on 23rd street. i wasn't aware of that many 7 members in this area until just yesterday but now that i know, i figured i'd invite ya'll to this as well. i already asked the dsm guys and they're all for it. dsm's and 7's all together. it's a beautiful thing :-) can anyone make it? please lemme know. here's the thread on dsmtalk for anyone who wants to check out the info.....
