Old guys with 12As club meeting
Jeffrey's (now called 'Twisted Tavern') in Suwanee, 08-07-07, 7:00 pm (please notice all those 7's).
You 2nd gen kids can come, but free beer for those over 40, married, getting fat and know how to fix the cars. Here's who said they'd come:
Mike
Greg
Me
And a kid from out in the GA sticks who works at Jeffrey's (now called 'Twisted Tavern'), whose dad gave him one sweet 80 SA that he's now driving, when not on the bike. Nice Dad.
Anyway, the more 1st gen RX-7s the better, owners included.

Everyone understands that they have draft beer for sale at Jeffery's, right?
Maybe the younger guys just don't appreciate the medicinal benefits of a pitcher of beer. Not only do you get smarter proportional to the amount of beer consumed, but you get better looking, and best of all your RX-7 even drives better on the way home.
I am planning to be there.

Well OK, let's go with the silver one first, in case you change your mind (the meetings are irregular, some of us old guys could croak before the next one).
Any other NE Atlanta 1st gens out there that could help us break the record for most 1st gens in the Jeffrey's parking lot at one time? Currently it's 3.

Here ya' go, here's the secretary's report for the Old Guys with 12As Meeting held at Jeffrey's in Suwanee 08-07-07 at seven o'clock.
The guy from the sticks showed up because he works there. His name is Paul, here's a pic:
Only three real 12As showed up, plus a model, but the records committee unanimously agrees that the old record of three 12As in Jeffrey's parking lot still stands:
Possibly the last three 1st gen RX-7s left in Northeast Georgia:
Mike explaining direct fire ignition:
Mike trying to convince somebody he's right:
Mike losing the argument:
Here's the movie:

Next meeting is every first Tuesday of the month at 7, of course.
That's all Folks!

I hate that i missed it as well. I didn't check the forums yesterday. /cry
I did work 'til about 11pm so would not have done me much good to know. Hate I missed it. Those are some sweet looking RX7's though. Maybe this house will come though and I can start tearing down the GS and rebuilding it. maybe.
Couldn't be I have 2 of them.

Mark, if these cars of yours didn't show up at Jeffrey's last night, how can we be sure they exist? We need proof, you never know what you can believe on the internet these days.
And Billy, where were you? We needed just one more 1st gen to break the World's Record for 1st Gens in the Jeffrey's at Suwanee parking lot.
I have to admit I'm discouraged and halfway convinced that the record will never be broken and that the three 1st gens you see in this post are the only ones currently on the road here in NE GA. And now with Paul gone, it looks like our chance at that record may be gone forever.
But let's give it one more shot. Holly, you need to buy a 1st gen. Billy, you need to get off your butt and drive three miles from Lawrenceville down to Jeffrey's. Greg, bring the real car next time. Aws, no more excuses. And Mark, let's get at least one of those buggies running!
Holly, our new secretary, has set the date:
09-04-07 at seven o'clock.
Be there!
Oh yeh, we had bunches of fun even though we didn't break the record.

Just to clear the record. There were three 1st gen 7's and a 2nd gen 7. I came over but due to the fact that I didn't know anyone it was hard to find yall when I got there. Needless to say I stood right in front of yall for about ten minutes and then left. I didn't realize who yall were until I saw the pics today. I have met the driver of the white 7 before on the interstate going to work and thought I recognized him last night but wasn't sure. Maybe next time.
