OK...Time to sell it....87 NA in NC.....$3000 obo

Im finally getting rid of my FC. I wanted to post it here before putting it in the forsale section because a number of you guys have given me such good advice on keeping it maintained and running great!!!

Im advertising again my 1987 Mazda RX7. I have owned this car since 1999. It is a red automatic. It has I have most reciepts for work done to it and I have taken excellent care of it since i have had it.

Additions include:
Recent Red Paint (2 years)
Replaced Factory Seats (1 year)
Stand Alone Fuel Pump (2 years)
Sony Detachable Face CD player (2 years)
17" Konig Wheels (it will need 2 new tires but for the asking price of the car i will include a set of NEW sumotumo tires and konig wheels!

This car runs great and has been a joy to drive! I got a newer toy so Im having to let it go relucantly. The price is very negotiable! I cant pay insurance for 3 cars!

Pics of the car are posted on Cardomain.com. Here is the links to the car.

Youre right I paid $800 for the car.........and $400 for the fuel pump and getting the toggle switch inside installed..........and $800 for tranny and oil seal work..........and $550 for new 17" tires......... thats $2550........

and im not counting.......

the new brakes i just put on it
New seats
Radio amp and subwoofer thats in it
remote fogs
paint
the 17" wheels that are on it already (there is another set that comes with the new tires)
spoiler (didnt cost me much so dont count that!)

Ive put right at $3000 into the car...........i dont expect to get that, thus the "very negotiable". Im not hard up to sell the car at all, but i dont want anyone to have it thats is going to not keep it running and take care of it or someone who is expecting to get a solid car for free. Right now its sitting and it doesnt need to be.

You are asking too much money for it...

First, Its an automatic... problem cars to begin with .. overheating
A new walbro fuel pump sells for $90.00 shipped on this site
A toggle switch you can get at Radio Shack for less than $3 bucks.. how to wire it ? I am sure that someone has written a thread on this site about... just got to do a little searching.
A used tranny should cost about $200.00 and about a buck fifty for the R&R
Tires unless they are Pirelli's they should not cost that much.. def not $550.00 unless you are shopping places like Firestone or Goodyear
Brake pads $20.00 but that is just your normal wear and tear..
you cannot add oil changes to the total.. that is just personal maintenance.
Radio amp and sub ... take them out and sell it on ebay.
New seats from the dealer can cost above $650 each side.. re-upholstering is a better option

This car should be selling at tops $1,800.00 for a 5 speed... but automatic gotta knock it down to $1,500.00 on the good side..

You would probably get more money for the car if you put the stock wheels and tires and sell the Konigs separately... if worst comes to worse then part out the car...

Not neccesarily true. I see FC's go for $2500-$3000 range all the time but they are 5 speeds, definitely take off some for it being an auto.

I've had this car for 6 years.......longer than most of you all have been driving and put alot of love and $ into it. I put it here because you guys love em and maybe someone will get it an take care of it......but im not going to give it away.

Yeah, don't listen to the haters here. It may take a while, but SOMEBODY is going to be looking for a really nice FC but needs an automatic, and when they find yours, BINGO! Perfect car.
