Ok guys, heres the deal.

Oct 15th 2011 will be the Rotary Car Show and Dyno Competition Meet
3991 Park Boulevard, Pinellas Park, FL
2pm - till we leave

We will have a best in class competition
Best Rotary vehicle overall
Dyno competition
- 12a all motor
- 13b all motor
- 12a Forced induction
- 13b Forced induction

Parking will be free for Rotary powered cars. $5 per non rotary car.
Dyno Comp $30 entrance fee. Best pull used for record. Cash payout per class based on number of entries, must have min of 5 entries to recieve payout.
Car show $10 entrance fee. Cars will be judged by class, classes decided by participants, will keep you posted.
***Best Rotary car requires NO FEE and will be decided by TBROC day of the event***

There will be food available on site as well as a shopping plaza with a variety of food choices across the street. Food will consist of rice, pork or chicken, beans,plantains, kabobs, and we will have water and soda available. Food will be sold $5 a plate (rice, meat, beans, plantains, drink). Kabobs will be $2. Drinks $1.

Gas station within blocks that sells Sunoco 110 at the pump for those interested.

Racing venue held later the same night at Sunshine Speedway is within 10 mins from the meet location. You pay $10 to get in and you can spectate and race at no extra cost.

Hello from Orlando, Our club Central Florida Rotary of Orlando is planning to have a group like 15-20 cars to go and have fun with you guys. If something change please let us know.

 

We will let everyone from CFR know if anything changes and will post updates here to this thread. So far everything seems to be right on schedule. We picked up another car or two that should be ready for the contest and have two more in the process of being built. All of these cars are do it yourself rotary owners, using various porting, turbos, ecu's etc so there is a wide variety to be seen just in our small gathering.

BTW, we would like for this to be stickied, that way everyone has the opportunity to see it and prepare as we are super busy trying to finish these two projects prior to the show and dont have alot of time to post TTT in this thread

Hello from Orlando how evrything go for the dyno day

 

As of now everything is looking good for the event. We will also look into providing dyno time (1 pull) for those just interested in seeing what they have, however time will be a factor in how many people we can get in as well as the number of cars entered in the competition.

 

ill be taking some leave if I can. Dont think ill win the dyno. only put down 338 at 1 bar. It was 105 degrees when doing pull after pull after pull... stupid TD06 20G. I think its time for T78 and meth.

 

UPDATE:

Rotary Fest 4 will be held this year on Oct 16th. In the interest of the community, TAMPA BAY ROTARY OWNERS CLUB will not be hosting our meet and dyno competition on Oct 15th and we encourage everyone that was planning to attend to come see us at Rotary Fest 4 on the 16th of Oct. Heres the link:

Pito we will have our event at a later date. Probably Feb. We were trying to get it in before the end of the year because we were informed that Rotary Fest wouldnt happen this year and we didnt wanna go without a big meet for 2011. But we're thinking Feb time frame. Should be nice and cool and dry. We'll keep you in the loop tho. Octobers show should be well worth the drive tho. If youd like, you can hook up with us at Exit 14 (I4) and we can all roll out to Kissimmee together on the
16th. Shoot me a message if your interested and ill send you the info for the meet up and roll out
