Motor is out, bay was repainted this weekend. Gotta goto chevy and get reamed for some parts then gotta get a engine harness made. Had an extra brake booster, new steering rack is being delievered today... Sooo soon? lol. She was a beast was running 285 rs3s on the rear and broke loose in all the power gears.

IMO, the FD rear is stronger than many think. As long as you don't have wheel hop, they hold up really well. I personally haven't broken a FD diff in my 11+ years of FD ownership. That includes probably 100 or so drag strip passes, launches on the street, 1st / 2nd gear hits on the street. Most of which on drag radials and making close to 500rw. I don't know the in's and outs of your car, but if it's making in the 500rw range or less and doesn't wheel hop, my opinion is that you are fine playing around on the street with drag radials. At the track, there is more risk of breaking stuff.
