For some, yes it's worth it. For me, I'll just stick to a really conservative tune and call it good. I'm ok with leaving a few HP on the table for safety's sake. I do hope you can find some people to go in with you on this. Maybe hit up some other forums to see if you can find some interest, and definitely come out to cars and coffee tomorrow. I'll bet by walking around and talking to people you can find some that will be interested.
Junito, the one on there right now is the standard map sensor that comes with all ms units. It's good for 2.5 bar, or about 22 psi. Keep in mind that the map I posted is in units of kPa, so 250 kPa is about 36.26 psia... so subtract atmospheric pressure from that and you get 21.56 psig as the top number. So I guess the map sensor really is limited to about 250 kPa then!
Count me in for a Steve Kan tuning. I am actually in the process of getting my FD ready for him to tune. Today I installed my wideband. Next up is my Power FC. A buddy of mine had his FD tuned this past December when Steve came to Orlando and he has not had any post tune issues. I was in the process of arranging to have him tune my car remotely via internet hookup but I would rather him do it live given the choice. Raksjo4, I would not worry about any bugs because he can tune remotely should an issue arise. Junito1, whose dyno do you have in mind?
I am going to try to come out, The last three months have been hell. I was really close to going to Mass. Because I didn't fill out a BTR for a tool. I am pretty sure that if I went to mass I would have been kick out of the Navy when I go through PTS for my Cross rate. I really need some & car threapy, I need to install those fender bars.
