Agreed. Raksj04's is worse. Where it's not faded, there's clear coat peeling, and he tried waxing the dull faded areas. So there's now chalky swirls on one side. It's fucked.

 

Yes yes it is. I was able to make it a little better by sanding and rattle canning it clear coat but gave up.

 

Aaronb and raksj. My bnr has a nice compressor in good shape and has been grinded down a little to fit lower manifold.( manifold needs a small amount of grinding. ) Its easy to make fit. It has a legit garret non bb center. And a busted up clipped p-trim wheel. With s5 turbine housing. Idk. If you guys were aware of it being s5.

 

Anyone know if any of the junk yards around town has any s4's with decent interiors? I need some interior pieces before I start on redoing the color.

He's a great tuner, but paying to fly him out, a place to stay, price for the tune, plus dyno fees, etc... pretty pricey, even when split multiple ways!

 

Yep... paying 300+ ought to include the dyno fees... this is just a little absurd. He should consider that as part of his overhead... I mean... the dude is making over 300 bucks for sometimes a little over an hour of work!

 

I would not be comfortable with having a guy fly in tune my car then fly back halfway across the country. What if some bug pops up later?

 

Expensive but, Hes has.knowledge.on.rotary ignition timing thats is completely worth it. Ths is a black art that yoh can only.learn through trial.and.error. i cant.afford to loose.another engine. More i cant be.without.driving for another.year.. ill go.crazy.
