I rebuilt them today... came out good! Just have to bleed them now. I tried the vacuum pump, but I either suck at it, or I didnt do it enough.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Every time I try going to a meet, something goes wrong. Every time. I was able to thwart it once, and that was the time James let me borrow a turbo, just in case something went wrong. We'll see how it goes tomorrow, but as it is right now, I'll see you guys at Sonic tomorrow night.

I found the less you work on the car, the less **** breaks It always ends up being something out of my control though, like my balance shop taking me for a fool, a corrupt file writes to the ECU and I haven't backed up for 6 months, a 25 year old part crumbles when I open the hood... it never ends.

What time will you be there? I was thinking of showing up around 7~730ish.

i usually show at about 9-915ish. The wife doesn't really like showing up earlier

The work for the next month is:

New radiator
Battery relocation
Emmissions removal
Radiator panel
Engine bay paint

Ha! You must not have kids then. My wife hates it when I go out at night because that's the only time she gets to spend with me without the kids doing... whatever kids do to aggravate adults.

Does anyone else agree that we should find a better way to meet up? That was my first time out at Sonic, and while I really liked talking with the Rx7/8 guys, the rest of the crowd is just embarrassing.

Time to go figure out why my car is running so lean suddenly. My cruising AFRs were pegged at 16, and I couldn't hit boost at all. Something is seriously wrong here.

How about in Tallahassee? We have a few characters here if you planned to go to the Tally Imports meet, but who says we can't make our own Mazdas only meet? That'd give me an opportunity to talk to some people about diagnosing mine, since it still has me stumped.

That bike was sparking his rims off the pavement. Are there any places with an open lot further outside of the city?

I'd love to do a monthly meeting somewhere, in the daytime. I went to one down at the Castaway Island Preserve that was pretty nice, so that's an option. Maybe we could find somewhere up around the 95/295 junction. It's still in Jacksonville, close (ish) to me, easy to get to for everyone. I may do some scouting around this week to look for open lots.

Won't start, but it will spin over. I think my auxiliary ports are clogged to ****. But it may be a combination of things. When it does manage to start, it's slow to it, and it feels like I'm missing a lot of power. I get random hesitation after and while I'm hitting the gas, and it seems to burn rich. I also don't seem to be getting spark from my trailing coils, and I can't get it to start again to test the used coils I bought.

I know this is the Jax thread, but there doesn't seem to be many people on here from Tallahassee. No official threads either. Regardless, I need to get this thing RUNNING so I can head to some meets too. Maybe even go to work.

Put it on a trailer, or tow it out here, and we'll finger out whats wrong with it. If not at a meeting, at someone's house. Between 2 or 3 of the users in this thread, myself included... we have about every tool that could possibly be needed to fix anything, major machine work excluded.

If he's not getting spark to the trailing plugs then he's not burning off all the fuel and running rich. I would check the plug wires and grounds to the engine.
