No telling on the return time, but 21 seems like about right, on the time.
I wish I'd've known that it was going to be this soon. I'd already stripped it down to it's main assets (no vents in the dash).
No big, though just a small number of Phillips and they're back in place - we should / could just yank the contents of Kev's dash and populate our with it.
Give me a call on when you plan on getting to the track, tomm. I'm rocking down with Fred and Bieber (they'll be in the 240). and we're SUPPOSED to be leaving at a tentative 0700...
Fack.
I should probably sleep, sometime, huh?
At the shop, yesterday, lastnight and all day, today... Contiguously.

Uhm, Mark.... How you accelerate has nothing to do with the top-speed limiter, in the car.
He probably ran out of laps due to gearing... Peg that puppy and hold it - gearing's long enough (without a speed limiter) and you could do 500 mph - given the constant rate of acceleration, over time and with enough distance.
BUT! Those courses are usually pretty fun. I got to race the FIA course at Laguna. Even the 'detuned' cars are pretty damned fast (remember that you're practically sitting on the ground.)
The insurance is high and there for a reason... Found out that the natural line in the corkscrew (turns 8 and 9?) is WAY wrong, AND I took it waaaay too hot.
Also discovered that at 80, when you leave the ground, from the top, you are HIGHER than the tire-barrier... Sheared the FR armature and wheel assembly off the car, as well as most of the nose and under-carriage.
The were pretty cool about it, since the actual DAMAGE was pretty cheap, and I think they still made money on the insurance.
If the opportunity arises, I'd say go for it and **** up the Disney track.
Hit up. I meant HIT UP the Disney track.

the disney track is so-so .A friend of mine did it a couple months ago, and they have taken the shifters out of the cars because people kept burning up the clutches. every car starts out in i think third, you get push started, and it takes a couple laps to get up to speed. I still want to do it though
