How is it up there? My wife and I are from San Diego, CA. South Carolina is alright, it's awhole lot better then **** Noster Missouri (stationed there for 3 1/2 years). I've been in the RX7 seen for about 2 years. This is my second FD; The first one was a huge learning experience about these cars. My second one is a (94 touring) FD I purchased froma forum member (GOHORNS). I flew to Houston, and drove it back. Before I bouth this one I made sure it was what I wanted and not a "lemon" like my last one ( 93 base) FD. Well hope you guys enjoy California. I'm trying to work something out as far as getting stationed in YOKOTA Japan. It's near Tokoy and it would be Crazy.

My hubby wants to go there too. He's overseas somewhere in a 'classified location', but he's the local postwhore California is okay, I'm in the middle of nowhere so that really sucks. I heard San Diego was really nice though. It's a bit of a culture shock to say the least. We're adapting well I think. I know a lot of the SC guys. I used to run the "half way house" in Charleston for all the military guys on Christmas and Thanksgiving. Gotta support my troops Enjoy SC for us, because we sure do miss it

finally got the rotary spitfire to charleston, so I am ready to represent the 1st gen crowd whenever we want to meet. If you see a blue spitfire terrorizing around north charleston/ Naval base, wave at your rotary buddy! Just installed the fabled Transistor trick in the car and having awesome luck with it.

 

gcbutter, yeah Yokota would be the perfect spot for me. I could be back in AMC again and working en route instead of working air recon. This **** is retarded!!!!! And Beale sucks!!!!! But from what I've seen, SoCal is pretty cool.

Novice, the Subaru probably won't be around anymore. It is owned by the wife of a guy that used to be into sports cars. Now he owns a Miata. Seriously, though, Chris doesn't come out much anymore for some reason.

As a warning, my car isn't all that clean right now. I'll be putting the stereo back together tonight but the engine bay is a mess. Try not to hold that against me. LOL.

Oh, I'd say we'll probably be at Fuddrucker's for about an hour and a half or so. You might want to plan on being at Frankie's around 6:45 - 7:00.
