UNCC just wasn't for me... they didn't have a program that catered to what I wanted to do... so I just stopped going about three fourths of the way through the semester... failed all my classes... and now I'm going to CPCC. They have a program that is exactly what I want to do, so that's what I'm doing. Plus, I should be done in about half the time it would have taken at UNCC.

More Charlotte sights, I'm in the Mint Hill area and I see a 3rd gen around "Spooled 7" I think. I'm in a Blue RX-8, I've seen afew 7's around UNCC and the movies around there. always on the lookout for 7's 8's. glad to see others around Nc I thought there were just a ton of 7's in SC.

 

Winston here, the only 2 I've seen are Tail Happy, and another silver FD on Polo Road. My FC is still seating in a heated garage in NY, hopefully it will be back down soon.

 

saw a red GXL or TII (couldn't tell, too many specific parts missing and added to be sure of either one) at Circuit City in Greenville today. Had FD wheels on it and the gxl spoiler, also had Apex'i auto timer and some guages. What was neat was this guy had the old Thunderbird Turbocoupe shift **** on his shifter (really really classy looking shift ****, stitched leather/weighted **** with "Turbo" written underneath the shift pattern).

 

Just passed a red 'vert on Yourkmont Rd. (behind Charlotte Douglas Airport). It was an older gentleman, but he was checking out my car.

 

I am from Asheville area,. I have seen a couple of FDs, and FCs around here. I drive a 95 VR base by the way..

 

Hey Harris, are you gonna come down to Robbinsville for the Tail of the Dragon run in early April? Don't see alot of postings from the mountain rotary owners. How far a drive is it for y'all?

If you can make it down for the day we'd sure enjoy seeing some of those mountain 7s. Is it true that you have to put different size wheels on one side of the car so it will remain level in the mountains? Just curious.

I saw a nice-looking black vert today. Needed a bath, but that's probably because it hasn't been above freezing much lately. With a rinse it would probably look great.

 

Josh, where did you see Ashraf's (Bond007) since his engine is in pieces and and the car is sitting in his garage. Just wondering, mine (silver one) is sitting in his driveway if you saw his car at his house.

GTUser, never been to DEALS Gap, so can't say anything. I just got my engine rebuilt with all the goodies put on , and i am dying to see what my car can do...I tell you one thing that it hauls some major ***, with that street-port, and all the minor stuff taken care of.

Saw a white S4 'vert today sitting in the parking lot in front of the Great Clips and Little Ceasar's (and a bunch of other shops) over by the Winn Dixie off of Pavilion Blvd. and University City Blvd.

 

i'm in the mint hill area... keep an eye out for a white fb w/ black mesh wheels and making lots of wierd breathing noises oh and a dented fender damn deer. you should come out one weekend man. i'm usually with alot of rx7 and 240 peeps.

 

Thought of another FC I see all the time... it's a Harbour Blue S4 that works at the Food Lion on the corner University City Blvd. and Harris Houston Rd. (almost in Harrisburg). I don't know if he's on here, but he goes to UNCC and plans on building a 20B for his senior... whatever it's called.

 

Spooled 7? hah, i know who that is.

Also, who has the widebody silver FC in town? Does he remeber the Porsche 944 thats gave him a good run on 485 years ago? Back when i believe the car was red.

Also... just thought about an FB that I saw probably about a year ago... I think it was a navy blue/purple, and it had an insane wide body kit... saw it on North Tryon...
