i would stay overnight...but id have to get my own room or two beds or something...cant share a room with a bunch of dudes...lol

 

I am a girl, and I need to split a hotel room with someone responsible and reliable... if it can go more than two ways, that would be great... and it would save some money for us!

Is 7AM early enough for you Raleigh guys? It takes about 2 1/2 hours to get there, and the gates open at 8 for participants and 10 for spectators.

What do we wanna do for our Rotary Picnic? Sandwiches? Go to a restaurant? LOL Input guys, input!!

 

hey i dont mind paying a bigger amount, but i may end up showing my car...which means id have to get up super early and clean the crap out of it and that means i would need privacy...dont want to sound like spaz...but i dont mind another person but not a whole room full of people....and probley a sitdown restaurant would be best...because it will probley be waaaay to hot for a picnic

 

umm last time we went there we brought grills and a bunch of dogs and burgers.... we had coolers of beer and soda. it turned out nice....

so how about everyone bring something.... anything.....

like a pot luck or something. I have a grill i can bring, and ill get some burgers.

Ok. Toys R Us at crabtree works great for me. Dont worry, I get lost in Cary too. I once drove past cary towne center 4 times before I realized what was going on!

flyboy, you just press the quote button, and then delete everything but the list, and then add to it. You'll have something that looks like this (minus the underscores '_')

I think it will be easiest to go to a local restaurant... cuz like someone said... it could be really hot... and it would be much cheaper this time around to do it this way. I know I'm gonna be going to Nopi Nationals............. so let's definitely try to plan a big picnic thing for that weekend!

 

Oh... and let's figure out a good meeting place at the event for us to find each other... cuz I KNOW it will be hard to find each other. I mean, my car would be the easiest to track down, cuz it's a yellow FC... and I know there won't be any others there. LOL

Does anyone know the area at all, for us to meet up at a certain time that day?

 

i know the area... there is not much out there. umm depending on how they do parking..... we have been parking near the restrooms, across from the snack bar at about the 1/8 mile mark or so.

the closest place to eat is like 15min away. burgerking and a umm bojangles or something. i dont remember the way to get there... its not all that close. there is more places to eat back in the main part of rockingham on business 74.

We have been cooking out because of the drive to go eat, and at some events they charge a reentry fee.

BRING SUN SCREEN. There is not a lot of shade there... every trip we did last year a few people got badly burnt. i was one of them.

If someone has a big tent bring it!

ok my fc wont be on the road then but me and my friend really want to go and i thought what a better group of people to go with then a bunch of fellow 7 owners. now my friend doesnt have an rx7 and it is pretty much a ricer but its transportation and its reliable so we would be driving that but i was wondering where you guys are meeting up and when and if you dont mind if we can tag along. someone get me back so i know. thanks

 

i was a lock to go, but now i have to goto dallas, tx to close on my new house that weekend.
