Guys in my opinion when preacher steps down this thursday i think the right person to take over as President is VILMARIE (VILBABY). She has the time, charisma, and personality i think needed to make this work.

I'm happy to here that all the time and effort put in to the SOFLARXCLUB is not going to waste. This is GREAT news and we at CENFLARXCLUB are looking forward in meeting your new President. All I have to say is WE ARE HERE TO STAY!!!!!

I think we should try to convince Val not to step down from the post, After all he was the one who created this club and has been successful at making things happen as much as they have. So I vote to try to tell val to stay on as president. Maybe somehow we can help him a little more with the planning but he has what it takes to make it work.

 

i agree with proto, preacher has done a good job and he cant be replaced even with his attitude he has made this club what it is. I met him at markham park last year and seemed to have things organized. preacher if you read this , dont leave the club.

 

I agree too. I would like for Val to stay on. I know it's a thankless job - but he was good at it.

 

Val seems to be the only logical choice, anybody got his number ?

After speaking with Val on several ocassions , I totally understand the frustration he is going thru. Many years ago when I was younger and had lots of energy, I ran a car club for quite a while and the efforts of ONE man trying to keep things together is really straining. It would be great to have Val stay on BUT the reality is that unless he recieves help then it will burn him out and remove all the enthusiasm of having an organized club that everyone can enjoy. My personal thoughts are that we should NOT eliminate the club all together BUT instead revamp it so that the luster of the club isn't lost all together.
