Just wanted to say Hi I got my 87 turbo II about 2 weeks ago I love it just a few minors bugs to get worked out. Oh yea I am in KNoxville TN.

Hey man, it's Jimi... congrats on getting the car. I'm glad that thing stayed in the local "family" so to speak. I sold my Supra so I have a little cash now so maybe we can run 129 soon.

 

thanks for the welcome...I am really enjoying it right now... minus the window motor which I think just died in the DOWN position... and guess what its got to rain too! blah. Maybe I can get my car back soon so I can put some work to fix this up just a bit more than it is now. Just tweaks really.

Oh damn, that's not a good thing to have happen today. If you're not getting any clicking or noise whatsoever from the motor when you hit the switch, then the switch is the problem.

 

Nice, another Ktown member. Looking forward to when we can all get together again, hopefully next time im out the T2 will be in new shoes and a proper paint and body kit installed.

 

Well whenever your car is drivable let us know and we can get together. I'm up for a meet anytime soon.

 

I finally got the FD painted and I am ready for a meet sometime soon too.

 

Yea the switch needed to be "rebuilt" aka cleaned. it works fine now. I got my other car back (EVO VIII) from the shop so Now I can drive that and tweak my RX7 woohoo. I am always for a get together too!

I can as long as it is later Saturday afternoon or Early Sunday afternoon. I am installing the downpipe Saturday morning and I leave for Chicago on Sunday evening
