I'm kinda new to Florida, just moved to Lakeland earlier this year and haven't really noticed a Central florida club meets or anything really. I missed the big meet in Clearwater, but haven't really seen anything besides the Miami FT Lauderdale crew holding meets. Am I just blind or do we not have many meets or get togethers around this area, I'm itching to get back with some more Rotary guys, I need my fix.

 

There is the Central Fl Rx club, but other than that i dont know of any. Whered you move from? btw, welcome to hell, in the sense that it gets that hot here....I cant stand FL, so glad I can move..Lol. Although Orlando has some nice places to hang out.

 

Just moved from Colorado, the heat didn't seem bad this last summer, I've been here since march. My family actually came down here in august to get away fom the Colorado Heat, it gets much hotter up there in the summer (100+). I think it's much nicer weather wise down here, I'm liking it.

I've been going to Tampa from time to time, My wife has a Built S14 so we show at the Nissan meets and stand around because the Nissan people down here seem like they roll in Clicks and don't like to talk to people they don't know.

I've only seen about 4 other FD's around Lakeland.

If you want a good hangout, Sunday October 8th, Enjuku Racing is holding a BBQ. the food is free, and their primarily a Nissan shop, so tons of nissan guys are gonna be there for their celebration of their Formula D performance. located in orlando.

I might have to stop by and check out the tuning and meet some of the local guys. I usually tune my own car and just put it back to mostly stock to drive it daily until we sell our place in Colorado, then I'll start building it again.
