Yeah we are meeting there, the initial meet wont probably last past 8 but i will be working on my car past 8. I have to be back in west ashley by 5 to pick up an engine hoist. I am renting one. So you can stay for all of that or go it doesnt matter, but i would like to get a good group of guys together for the bridge run, and if anyone has any thing they want to get help with on their car bring it to my house after we eat and we can see what we can do about it.

I pm'd you, Justin. Im looking for some parts for my 88 se.

BTW, the gxl was out of commission last week. driving down 176, i started to smell coolant, pulled over and popped the hood, and a stream of coolant was coming out of the upper radiator hose. I decided to replace all the radiator hoses and the thermostat, and she seems to be back to normal now

fyi, if the upper radiator hose starts getting a swollen, bloated look to it, it probably means its about to break...

My boyfriend and I came to Charleston last week, but I didn't even think about meeting up with my fellow rotary guys!! We rode in his non-rotary car anyway (Dodge SRT-4)... I definitely missed my FC all week. He and I might move down to Charleston in the Fall 2006, so I'd love to start making some friends in the area.

Anyway, hope we can start keeping in touch! I'm definitely a true Carolinian... I've lived in NC my whole life, so I don't wanna go *TOO* far from home. So Charleston is definitely a wonderful choice.

Hybrid, I have a set of FDs that are bronze. I used to use them on my 10AE until I got my Work wheels. They have a set of Kumho 712s on them with over half their tread left. I'm looking to get $400 for them with the tires.

BTW, I'm in Columbia and am one of the founders of the SC club. I'm sure anyone on here will speak for me if you're concerned in any way about dealing with me.

Reese

That aint no **** neither, took my first gen for a tune-up and oil change(just needed it and i didnt have the time) and thats exactly what the tech told me! I was like, " i am at the MAZDA dealership, the supposed authority on rotaries, right?" He just laughed. i asked about RX-8's and he said they fly a tech in from Florida to work on them! OMG! so goes to show the real TECH'S are the people who drive them!
Anyways, WHEN is the NEXT meet? missed the last one cuz i was in Scotland, saw a bunch of RX-8's and one bad *** FD!( plus all right hand drive which just looks wicked as hell) LATERS , IAN

Well guys i am really glad that the rotary Gods are finally bringing everyone together. I have been on vacation the past week, so it looks like i have missed alot. If everyone is down for sept 3rd that can be our next meet. Too bad i still wont have the FD running, but i knew that i had a 50/50 chance when i bought my rx7. Oh and for anyone that is wanting to by a rx7 for the first time, make sure you have a real fire extinguisher handy, not one of those in an aerosal can. You can ask nieto about how a gallon of milk saved his FD. So that makes it 3 FD fires in 3 months right. I cant really remember when derricks caught fire.
