Garrett, I've been trying to convince him to go in that direction but Aldo thinks he'll lose a lot of money if he sells the PFC and buys a Microtech and tune it, etc....

 

well, what would it cost for a microtech setup, install and tune? i've got 1.5k into the pfc setup myself, and i'd probably be lucky to get a k from the PFC+COM+DL. these days the PFC comes with the COM. damnit.

there certainly is a lot more local support for the damn microtech around here.

Evan, it all depends on who you go through. I've had my Mircrotech for over a year now, so prices have changed some. I think it's best to ask Garrett (G's 3rd Gen) since he recently got one.

 

i got mine from microtech directly for around 900shipped with the handheld controler.

 

I'm definitely thinking of changing over. the only thing right know is money. First and for most is A/C. I don't think I can live without A/C anymore specially during these summer days.

I hope I can get something for the PFC. I still works just as good as when I bought it. It's not a mechanical part. You will lose some money on it. Right know I definitely need to get this tuned. I haven't been able to enjoy my car at all since the rebuild. I feel like I'm driving a honda civic. Does Rolo at Central Florida turbos have the necessary equipment (datalogit) to tune the PFC?
