Is My Car a GTUS ?
Im Trying To Find out If My FC is a GTUS or Not. I didnt know much about this car when i first bought it. I Only bought The car because The Previous Owner Said it runs. Anyways, Whats The MAIN thing i should be looking for on my Car to be Certain it is ? Thanks.
The second gen FAQ section could help you more. But, pictures and a list of things the car has as far as options would help as well. IIRC GTUs's all had LSD's regardless of year, were manual windows and did not have auto-adjusting suspension.

I Have Manual Windows, Manual Locks. I Dont have a SunRoof. I Dont Have Cruise Control Or Tilt For My Steering Wheel. I Dont Have Suspension Adjusting. uhmm.. i have shitty pictures of my car at the moment. and my car doesnt move right now cause i need to replace my clutch slave.. Is there anything else i need to be looking for ?
5 lug wheels, 4 piston front calipers vented rear rotors, lsd rear end, should have 4.30 rear gear ratio and possibly the beefier transmission. But so far it sounds like either a base, sport or GTUs model
Do you have the stock wheels on it? They're just S5 TII wheels. There's probably some sort of mark on the diff because it's different from the other FC diffs. I'm guessing it's been repainted or else it would have the GTUs vinyls.
And what about brakes... didn't they come with the 4 piston front calipers? That's a pretty easy one to check for.

To me the easiest incicator would be to look at the info decal just inside the drivers door ... the one which indicates tire size, etc .... if it indicates 16" wheels then your on your way ....

the tab that sits on the dif explaining its a limited slip? if thats the plate then it may have been lost god knows how long ago, jack it up ad spin the wheels. if both wheels go same way its lsd, if they spin opposite then its open dif.
