Took me a couple of minutes to figure out you were talking about my avatar. Its a Rx2 and there are actually two of them mounted on a pole like that.

haha, i read that earlier for forever before giving up on what it meant.... oh well...

I'll get back to work on getting the website started... chad i saw somethings about the name of the club and everything so we might need to take a trip to hooters to get a name set so i can get the website up, i mean everyone must have a say in the important things...

Ya, if you have ever been there you can't miss them that high in the air. I made the comment the first time I saw them that they could have been in my garage.

As for the name, well it is set at M.R.C.M.T. since alot of the legal docs already have that name. I have worked on the name for 2 months and three factors came up on this one....

1- I wanted any rotary powered car/truck to be allowed so you can't call it an RX7 club. (We have an Repu truck and an rx8 owner already wanting in)

2- I liked what the AL club did so I wanted something like that.

3- It also fits in with Nashville === MR CMT

As for the web site, We can get ideas and start to plan but before we can have it up we need to buy a domain or find a free website host and just use that for now.

Sidepost:
I don't know what brake calipers you are using, but when I do my brakes I am switching to Hawk HPS pads, and what I have on there right now are Hawk HP+ (didn't know they were on there)... but i don't want the dust, and the HP+ pads have about 50% left or so. If they will work (4 piston front) I will switch out my pads and donate the HP+ pads to the car... I haven't checked the rear pads, so they may be crap, but i don't know...

Ok, In a week or two I am going to paint the track car.. I am painting it silver for now.. Plain yes but it'll be ok. The center of the wheels will be painted black and I am going to polish the lips...

The 13B install is going to commence, in a week or so. I just have to get the car chad bough over to start pulling parts...

The motor is in guys! I am putting the tranny up this weekend and starting the wiring nightmare....LOL.. Here is the current status:

I bought a set of "limited Edition RX-7" wheels for the car so rims are covered
The motor had a gem.... When i removed the clutch to put on the new one..WHAM light weight fly wheel baby!

The car is jsut about sewn up... I really need a fuel pump but I think DJ has me covered unless anyone has a GSL-SE pump laying around... Here are a few pics..

I have come in at the wrong time in this thread but from what I've seen so far it's looking like the project is coming along good and possibly almost wrapped up. Good work.

Today we ran into some small setbacks on the track car. We should have it up and going by the start of the season if nothing else pops up and if the rain holds off.
Trevor should be working on part of the harness as we speak.

I spoke with a member and he might have a rear disk LSD rear end on his parts car. I will look into it more but that can be added later.
First to get a FI fuel pump. Went is the paint coming?
