What i do for the club has nothing to do with my personal business with respect to Lambo Doors, Radiator Panels, Overflow tanks, Parts sales, Car sales. When you came to see my verts (Plural) I had one with a running motor that is Jezebel and the other '88 vert that had no motor or door panels. I paid $1,000 for that motorless vert and a GXL.. two for the price of one.. that is my price and what i sell it for its my business. Yes It was sitting in a field on his 2 acre lot when i bought it over a year ago.
When people in the club have something to sell they can network with others in the club or sell it themselves either by running an ad on ebay or in this forum. When someone asks me if I can sell it for them its no longer the president of the Soflarxclub selling a car, seats or whatever the case may be to another member of the SOFLA RX CLUB.
Take for instance the following example. I sold my reupholstered FD seats for $600.00 bucks to some guy in Virginia who has nothing to do with the club. I advertised on ebay and that is how i sold those seats. Someone else who was part of the club had some black FD seats that they wanted to get rid of. I asked him how much was he willing to take for the seats.. he said $450.00... so I advertised on ebay and ran an ad under my name.. personal business account and had a buyer for them.. when i approached the owner of the seats the following day to let him know that i had a buyer for the seats he proceeded to ask me how much i had sold them for... I felt that i didnt have to answer that because its not his concern if all he wanted was $450.00 .. well he proceeded to let me know how wrong it was for me to do that... how can a so called preacher try to do something so immoral and unethical... what ? I couldnt believe it... and because i had sold them for a more than he was asking he felt that other profit should go to him... that is ridiculous... I posted it on ebay not as the Prez of the SOFLA RX CLUB but as An Average Joe (VAL) totally disconnected from the club. When he didnt want to honor the price that he set because he thought that since i sold the seats for more that the additional profit should go to him, I had no choice but to let it go. I had to inform the buyer in Ohio that the seats were no longer available.
Anyone can post on this forum to sell items or on ebay.... or they can network with the other members of the club. BUT when someone asks me to help sell it for them then i go out of the forum or club environment and sell it on my own by the means that i see fit. At that point it has nothing to do with the club.. its just me Val being a businessman.

I had that car sold in less than one week... when it came to pay.. that worthless ***** never antied up with the C note... kept avoiding my calls... I still see his face around but he dont come talk to me about it...
and there are two other people just like him whose cars RX7's were sold... they couldnt do it... so i did it.. out of the other two only one gave me $100.00 bucks.. whereas the other punk didnt.
So now that I have given you this then you can very calmly separate one from the other and see what hat i am wearing. Network or Out of Network

It was very clear that this person wanted a certain figure because that is what he felt comfortable with.. that is what he said he would take for them.. plain and simple... i cant see why you can see that. There was nothing else implied whether or not they were sold for more.. just like the guy with the car.. that guy said he wanted no less than $1000 for it... I was able to get $400.00 more for it... should that extra $400. gone to the owner of the GXL... Absolutely not.. that was not the agreement. I will mention his name so no one is confused Carlos D. only wanted $1000. so if I am able to sell it for more then I get to keep the extra $400... why not.. its my $40.00 that was used to place the ad on ebay .. or my $40. to place the ad on Auto Trade Publication... I dont have to let anyone know what i am going to sell it for if i was going to get more for it... its kind of like a consignment deal... you set the price you want and anything above and beyond goes to the consigner... after all the consigner is the one doing all the legwork... if you cant see that then you are really stupid or just plain ignorant.

If throwing BULLSHIT was an offense then everyone here that has responded that ,"They wouldn't make money off other people" but instead do them the favor of selling their stuff for MORE money at NO CHARGE ,would be locked up. They are so FULL of **** themselves that their EYES are turning BROWN...
Everyone here would without a doubt buy something for $1 and sell it for $3 at the drop of a hat if they could. It is the American way of life....
I personally don't see anything wrong with ANYONE making a commission for helping someone sell some off their items if they asked for the help. It is the person who ownes the items responsibility to set a price and if I/you are able to sell it for more than what they wanted then I/you should be entitled to the difference. The owner of the items is the one who GAVE UP on trying to sell the items and asked for the help, it wouldn't be my fault that I was able to move the items faster and at a greater price! If you really want to get technical, the owner of the items should have OFFERED to give me/you money for helping them out.
In my personal situation, I had a friend help me sell a car about 5 years ago, and I gave him a MINIMUM price I wanted and told him if he was able to get more than I would GIVE him a commission. That friend of mine actually got $1000 more for the car than I wanted and I let him keep it because I GOT WHAT I WAS ASKING for so that was just extra that he deserved for moving the car quicker than I could have. I am in no way DEFENDING anyone BUT the truth be told WE would all love to make a commission for helping sell goods...
No one works for FREE or does anything for FREE unless they expect something in return sometime down the line. SO all the BULLSHIT talkers need to get real and STOP trying to act like their HALO"S are glowing.........
