Unhappy Me and family are homeless.........for now

Well, yesterday morning someone decided that they wanted to start a barn fire @ my front door and partially burned my place down, so now we are staying in a hotel until we can find somewhere else to stay. The car and all my parts were saved but my tv and computer were lost but my laptop (which im on now) and no one was hurt,

OMG that is horrible...

At least you were able to save the car and stuff... Did you lose any personal items like pictures or anything?

I am glad to hear you are ok and the family.

Any leads on who started the fire? I hope you can find out.

You and the family will be in my prayers.

Most of the stuff we lost were due to smoke and water damage, once thr fire department got inside, they went threw with the hose and sprayed EVERYTHING with water....EVERYTHING!!!!! The FBI found some half burnt matches that were stuff'd under a door @ a empty place a few doors down from me, so they took it for evidence and brought a crime scene dog to serch for accellerants and the dog sat and bark by my door where I kept my trash can so they cut out that piece of my deck and took it to. They said it would be a few days before they could tell me what they think start'd the fire but said with no leads they may never find out who did it.

Got any enemies or people you've pissed off? Other than our society now being populated with freakin' idiots, who just walks up and start a fire at an unknown persons residence. Another example of someone who should have been caught by the unused rubber that was by the bed stand.

Hope you catch the douch bag.

Tim

The Police and FBI think that it may have been some kids because of the fact that they found the matches and that a adult arsonist would not have tried to hide the matches @ or near the scene, they would have taken any evidence with them, so that were going around today after school questioning some of the kids around the area.

That SUCKS. I know how you feel!

In 2003 my family got screwed in court and financially and had to live in a hotel until we found this current apt...

And a few weeks ago my friends house burned down from a kitchen fire.

Good luck to you man. I hope your stuff wasnt messed up and nobody got hurt.

I don't know you from Adam and I swear to God I'm not trying to insult you, but if you could provide the police department working your case to corroborate your story, I'd be more than happy to PayPal you some $$$$ to help a little and keep you going until you get your life back in order.

Maybe other members of the rotary community wouldn't minding chipping in a couple bucks to help this guy and his family out.

Losing everything you own can be a serious pain in the ***. Look around your house and start adding up in your mind how much it would cost to replace all the dishes, pots and pans, food items, towels, clothes, coats, shoes, furniture, every small little item that you collect over the years, which comprise the material possessions related to a family's assets. It can be devastating and insurance doesn't cover EVERYTHING.

I know you're not looking for charity and probably don't want hand-outs, but times likes these are what determine the TRUE character of the members of any given group, including rotary enthusiasts of a car forum.

Sorry about your misfortune. I hope they catch the focker who did it.

I appriciate your willingness to give and I thank you for the offer, but we have gotten so much support from family, friends, the red cross and my job (Bellsouth) that we have more than enough, we've been given clothes, groceries and money so for right now we are fine. The furniture can be replaced. We did not have renters insurance so we will have to come out of pocket for that. Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers.

I'm not sure who you are but whoever robbed you should have blown out what little brains you have. Making jokes about a situation like this is some ol' crack-head ****.

Making jokes and making light of the situation are two different things.
