There are several hotels on highway 58 between Danville and the track that are real convenient. I think that there in a Holiday Inn Express that's fairly close to the track. Check the VIR web page (www.virclub.com) for some local pointers.

If there is still room at the Lodge at VIR, that would be an awesome place to stay.

Sorry Bill, Ashraf and the others of MSCCNC, it doesn't look good for a caravan coming up from Atlanta. With the cost of about $150 round trip for the gas in our cars to come up there and with other's vehicles still not up to making the trip, there does not seem to be any interest. I cannot justify spending that kind of money along with hotel expenses alone, when I have vacation planned for Labor Day. Sorry again, hopefully I can make it up there to see everyone another time.

If any of you get to the Atlanta area, please let us know, we can arrange a get-together.

YAY! and bumpity bumpt to the top! okie people, we're trying to detail out saturdays details, detail details? like breakfast at cracker (cracker/crack head) barrel around 8am, leave at 9am, be at VIR around 10:30. looks like we might have direstions for a tasty backroad drive up there. imma trying to co-ordinate this on here and msccnc site at the same time so post up what works or doesn't work or thought or whatever asap.

Looks like we're a go for the CrackHead Barrel...I'm trying to work it so I can leave work early Friday night, if not Keri may be driving my car up there so, I can sleep!

 

bring some chairs of some sort also guys. unless you want to sit on the ground or stand all day where we'll be at. there are picknicky tables about 150 yards away from where we'll be that you can hang out at but the view might be better of the track where we'll be at.

Ok people! I need a head/car count of who is going to show up at the Cracker Barrel Saturday morning. For breakfast be there around 8am, if joining the caravan be there by 8:45am. Either way be gassed up before we leave!!! We're hitting the road at 9am sharp and not stopping!

 

I'm ready I got all three girls waxed up, and ready to go. Let just hope the rain holds off. Ive been cleaning for 3 days.
