I was at Fuego's shop today and saw advertising for the National Mazda Day. If you don't know check last year's thread out.

It was actually a pretty good turnout last year, even though the bad weather. Anyone got details on this years? I just glanced at the paper and didn't really get the date or details, but I believe it will be in the same place as last year.

Come one, come all Mazda Fans! On Saturday, October 28, 2006 The World's Largest Rotary Show will be featured in a new location! Mazda proudly presents SevenStock9 at its very own Mazda North America Corporate HQ Center, in Irvine CA.

Yeah that's not what I'm talking about. The one I'm talking about is just a local person throwing a meet and calling it "National Mazda day", it has no backing from the manufacturer

 

It was a good turn out w/ good food last year. Eventhough it sprinkled occasionaly. Im in!

Well I emailed Jimmy who organized the thing last year and told me that someone else was organizing it this year. Supposedly they were going to have it at a local Mazda dealership but that's not looking so good, so they may have it at the same spot as last year. Not sure what the status is, so as soon as I find out I'll post.

FD Rey-My good friend Raul was the main organizer last year and we were very pleased with the turnout. He informed me yesterday that he is working with a sponsor and we may still have an event for Dec. or Jan. As soon as I find out something I will post it.
