I worked all day yesterday on the 7. Got the passenger window working, switched out door locks, put new weatherstip on the doors, swapped hatch struts, put the A and B piller plastic covers on, painted and installed the wipers, and stripped down the passenger door panel - painted it - and reassembled it. All this so that I could put it in the CarQuest car show today. 114 cars there (decent turnout). I managed to win the Import - Japanese class.........Yea!!!!! I know the kid with the Eclipse with the Lambo doors and huge spoiler wasn't happy to get second place I'm trying to get a couple pics together and load up for you, but my pics are too large for the forum. IDK, if I have time tonight I'll get me a Car Domain site and set up a link. Just thought guys might want to know that 7's are being represented out there....Chuck

I had some free time, so I made up my page. It walks through the whole buildup. There is supposed to be a show next weekend in West Columbia. I'll get the specifics and let everybody know about it. I plan on being there with the 7.

Meet at river's kmart around 5 or so?
this sounds like a plan. prolly gonna be in chas alittle early to to the beach first. not sure yet though. now that the weather is getting nicer, maybe start making plans for an earlier time to meet to do a BBQ at a park with bbq pits setup, maybe for june or something, but that will be discussed later. lemme know if this plan works for all.
Mr. Peanut, congrats on the win over the ricer, thats awesome, cool to see that hard work you did rewarded! i love your car! IAN

So I saw a red 2nd gen. headed toward columbia on I-26 today around 2pm.

Whats the best way to get "sap" off your car?
Maybe I should start covering my 7.
Since I park at my house thats in the woods, it gets dirty alot.

later.

Driving down Platt Springs Road in Lexington (near White Knoll High) and saw this 1st gen on the car lot. 1985 GSL. There is a tear in the drivers seat (not shown in pic) and they have added an aftermarket stereo since the pics were taken. Not too bad looking in person. Light clearcoat peel on the rims. Cash would probably bring this one home for a lot less than the $2,500 asked.....Chuck

I saw 4 cops in different spots on I-26 this afternoon and they all had ppl puled over.
I also saw a ford pickup truck with monster tiers and a suspension system so jacked up the bottom of the truck was 5 or 6 feet off the road.
Crazy.

cops have been out like crazy lately, espically the biker (chips) cops. guess the warm weather brings out the idiots, so all beware and invest in the mighty radar detecter! cant wait till the meet.
