pay per person... Even though it's one car, you still need to pay either the $25 each or the $40 each. Otherwise you won't be able to hang out with each other in certain places... Think of it this way, for an additional $5 per person (General admission is $20)you get to go to the padock area and have a parking space inside :

I am not able to go due to a wedding in NY that weekend but what is up with the rest of the people that said they would go. Alex Cisneros has done a great job of getting everyone as much info as possible.

 

right now it seems the EVO club will be taking the parade lap and not us... We just don't have enough people signed up

I just wanted to introduce myself and remind everyone that the deadline for the Car Club Package orders is February 25th. If you guys have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me at the track. (305) 230-5210

I think the you guys would have a great time rooting for the SpeedSource Three Rotor Carbon-Fibre bodied RX-8s. With the Paddock Pass being offered in our packages (usually a $25 dollar value on its own) you will all be able to walk right up to the cars while they're being worked on before the race. You could even talk to the drivers and/or mechanics if you'd like.

Don't forget that the race is going to begin at 6:30 p.m. so, the cars are going to be racing at night. The cars will be seen under the glow of the new NASCAR lighting for the portion of the track that uses the oval, but when they turn into the unlit infield course you'll be able to see the brakes glowing and the flames shooting out of the exhausts.

So far we have had a good response from the Porsche, Corvette, Ferrari, Mustang, etc... clubs. So, now it's your turn...

What happened to everyone, same question as Xavier, que pasa amigo with your car for sale? I just bought TII i should drive down heavily modded, I might look at that door kit so save one xman.

By the way guys, If you didn't get to see the NASCAR race "Running under the lights" at Homestead... You don't know what you're missing





oh and if you've never been to a Grand AM race at HMS... There is usually concerts, contests, food, vendors, and practice before the racing starts. There will be much to do.

Its a consignment deal for one of the guys in the club that he is selling a '90 GXL. As far as the vertical door kit you will probably have to see Val from the sofla rx club since he is the one that makes those kits, i just simply sell some of them for him. In any case I will be there in Homestead.

I commend you on your valiant effort to make this get together a successful one and being able to inform the people as much as you have had up to this point.

I have to be quite honest without singling or pissing anyone specifically. It doesnt make me feel all that great sometimes how there is a lack of participation from some of the people but I have had to learn to just let it slide.

There are several pesons that do get on this forum to read but they never post and it seems that they post when I have in the past created some Drama to fuel them but i am not about that anymore.

I sent my payment for the $40.00 pass for this particular event. I inititially read it in the RX-8 forum and I copied your thread to this RX-7 forum. I really felt that it was that important enough to let this community know of what you were attempting to accomplish. In a way to support YOU and this activity and that is my reason for attending as I will be attending.


From the looks of it there are only TWO people registered and that is You and I .. no one else has even mentioned or posted on this thread about their participation or whether or not they have registered. I intend on following up with this by broacasting it to everyone by email as well. There are a select number of people who dont do the forum but they do read their emails. Out of 83 people that I have emails for only about 16 actually respond. It's pathetic isn't it ? I am surprised how at times on the day of the meet some will call me and ask me for directions to the meet.... On that day I am just too busy to give detailed directions when they should have logged on the forum to retrieve the info. Other times I will get a call a few days after the meet asking me when is the meet.

It would be great if we could get these many people coming out so it can be US the ROTORHEADS taking that LAP on the track... Why can't it be... Why cant we have that privilege ?
