Japaneseengines@yahoo.com; and on e-bay
These guys don`t know an S-4 from an S-5 so if you order an engine they won`t refund unless you send the old engine back...complete. The shop where I`m having this engine installed has already started on the changing parts, et. to make it work. The only option offered by J.E. is arefund for the complete engine...just a heads up. If they ask how to tell them apart go somewhere else...
More details on Mr. Browns GSL-SE
For everyone that has read Mr. Browns posts throughout the rx7 club I would like to state that I tried several times to get him to bring the car back to me. I have rebuilt many engines and have never had one come back with problems. Maybe there were other items wrong with the car but as far as the engine rebuild I have never had a problem. I know some people have had some issues but it is going to happen over the years of working on anything that there will be some unhappy people no matter what you do. I am very honest with my customers and try my best to make whatever went wrong, right. I have alot of satisfied customers as far as part sales or service. I offered a warranty on his engine and he refused to bring the car back. When Mr. Brown showed up to pick up the car he told me that I should have swapped out all fluids in the car including rear diff and tranny. He told me that he thought I was fixing his entire car with rebuilding the motor for 3800.00. Come on the price was for rebuilding and installing his engine. Yes I do replace fuel injector seals, vacuum lines, spark plugs, oil, coolant, atkins apex seals, solid corner seals, front and rear main seals, mazda overhaul kit, new clutch, new fuel pulsation dampner, thermostat and water pump. this is what you get when rebuilding a motor from Rx7 Restorations for 3800 and the price goes up for 89-91 N/A or Turbo. If I knew that I was suppose to swap out all belts, hoses, brake pads, drivetrain fluids, lighting, etc. The price would have been much higher. As far as his taillights being cut I do not do those things and I really dont think the paint shop would have either. But I guess the Blame has to be put on someone. If anyone still has a problem with Rx7 Restorations and you feel that you were taken advantage of and would like to make it right please call me at 678-523-7252 and we can see what can be worked out. Also he towed his car here and drove it over 3 hours to get home, so if I did not rebuild his engine how could he have even made it back home. Everyone that knows about rotaries is that it will either drive or it wont, they are not like piston motors where you could still drive the car on 7 cylinders even if it is an 8 cylinder. You cant drive a rotary if it only has compression in 1 rotor has to have both sides with compression.
Oh, I`ll be there, and it wasn`t $3800 it was $6000. I could have bought an entire GSL-SE in VERY good condition for that. What I got was a piece of ****. You were to replace a lot of things but didn`t. That`s what it`s all about. See ya tommorrow, jerk...

We`re going to court tonight to let them settle it. There were lots of promises made but VERY little work done. I don`t mind paying if I get my money`s worth but this was plain thievery. Oh, I don`t know why Park decided to bring this up here but I assume he`s trying to goad me into making a rash statement. Park, I deal in truth, you are a liar....
OK, court is over. Neither of us is completely satisfied with the decision but we worked it out in a format that involved mediation. If two parties are not satisfied with a final action then the law figures it must be equitable. The motor ran good to go up to Atlanta area and 120+(mph) interstate passing games were easy and secure. No heat up and the oil pressure gauge is still reading low but it`s running and pretty quick about it. I have no problems with the rebuild anymore and will deal with peripherals as neccessary. All is done and there will be no more bad mouthing. Mr` Park needs to pay more attention to detail if he wants to be a really good engine man. It works...
