Last year my voltage reg went out and the power spike blew both my ignitors. I soon went in for heart surgery so have not worked on the car since. Now, seeing it looking so sad in the back yard and me being healed up, I want to get her running again.

SO I am wondering if anyone in the Jax (Fl) area has some working 12A ignitors laying around. How much would you want for them if you do have some?

Please PM me, I want to start driving her again.

BTW, my son who just turned 16 now has an 86 vert that my co-worker gave to me. Came with new carpeting. Runs good needs some new mufflers and the top is ripped on both sides behind the door(small tears). He is so thrilled. I am looking forward to he and I cruising together when he gets his license. Right now, he is working on getting his permit.

Advance Auto has them for about 90 bucks
I used some off a Mitsubishi and i think they were either J105 OR J109
They are slightly bigger but work just the same... if that helps you any.

 

I think i have 1 left over from when i did my electronic conversion and MSD Setup. I think i could dig it up if you don't have any luck locally. Let me know. Its not 2, i know, but at least its a step in the right direction!

Preacher, I looked at the junk yard today, and the only thing they had even close would not work at all. $90/piece is a bit more than my budget will allow. (She allows small prices, not small pieces, LOL)
