Well then that is a sign that it was meant to be and this will work well. I may try it this weekend.

On another note:.. I want to offer something to all you guys. I am by no means a pro. But , I am learning with the aid of a professional painter. I notice that alot of us have various parts that are primered or faded or chipped etc.. I would like to propose that if anyone wants to have individual pieces(mostly solid colors) like hoods, fenders bumpers etc.. painted. I would like to paint them for you at NO COST for the work. Just buy the materials needed.( Sandpaper, paint, primer, clear etc.. or single stage paint..basically a all in one paint) I need to practice on as much as possible.

I did my stuff in my garage. BUT i will paint the pieces for everyone in a booth that my buddy has.( No way to get a whole car in his, but we have access to a full size booth as well)

IF someone was unhappy with the way it turned out I would do it again at no extra cost in materials to you. And if desired I could have my "mentor" do it if desired.

Just a thought. I can't remember who it was that asked me about their car. But i would do a whole car the same way. NO cost to you except materials. And anyone who has ever tried painting before or has gotten a professional quote knows how much $$ is spent on the prep....pretty much all of it Now doing a whole car would NOT be a fast job. So please no Daily drivers to try

Let me know guys. I used single stage paint on mine and my old gun. which was dirty from the last bike I sprayed while in Hawaii. That is what the little sand grain specs were if anyone noticed I would be using a SATA HVLP professional gun from now on with all the proper regulators filters etc.. The paint would be Quality PPG or you could choose another brand like House of Kolors. But We use PPG mostly and are "used" to the way it sprays.

Thanks Dave ...PM me if intrested or hit me up at the next meet

Will do Like i said a whole car would take a while ( couple months, probably less,) but I don't want to misrepresent my abilities for fast turn around on a whole car. since my back will only let me work so long during a day I would be very intrested though.

Yeah I'd be up for some touch up. I'll check it out at the next meet or if you wanted to send me pics my email is rotoryhead@aol.com

As i said before I am really looking for the experience, but i wouldn't turn down a few bucks. But seriously, I am not looking to profit monetarily from this.......yet

im the one in the shadows but here are my pics: took a crap load and hardly any turned out! my camera is so sensative to light and i was not about to put it on manual mode (that would take about a 4 minute setup with each car!) but when it WAS sunny, had a lot of hot spots and that just ruined the photos but here are the few that were salvageable:

Here is a cool event if anyone is intrested. We may be going depending on timing of the NC state Bar exam.

Get some generic piping, a few silicone couplers (if that is what you call them?), clamps, Cone filter, and some mounting brackets.

I.ve got a red greddy turbo timer. I had it in my car for a long time. works great. Has alot of options i don't know how to use. You can program in a custom countdown tune etc.. 30 bucks 50 installed wherever you want it

As for the CAI, Josh and I are going to do one on his car this week probably. I will have to look at the T2 engine set-up again(been awhile) but I think the same set-up will work.

got my SA running guys so it will be at the next meet... ii would have had it for this 1 but when i bolted the trans up to the motor the motor would not turn over anymore at all.. there was also a small gap where the trans meet the motor and it did not want to close up with out using the bolts...... so i pulled it out today and found out what was wrong... this is the 2nd time i had it out to see what was wrong. the 1st time was to see what was making the gap. thought it was a messed up alignment pin the 1st time didint know the motor was locked.. put it in find out the motor is locked so i stoped working on it... that was sat night.. so today i pull it out for the 2nd time and look in side the bell housing and what do i see(im a dumb ***) the clutch slave bolts bent and was logged between 2 teeth. i didint have clutch slave on the trans yet and they hit the flywheel and locked the motor up... so i started it a few min ago and it runs very good. i will see how it drives in a few days after i fix some wires and the brakes

cheers PaTricK

ps sorry for all the poor spelling, grammer and what not lol
